There are mainly two ways to play Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl, and both will take you quite a long time due to the sheer length of the game. You can either focus on the main story or take your time to explore around. The second approach will take you a lot longer, but you’ll also get some handy upgrades.

8 Best Open World Games From 2021
2021 may be over, but you likely have not seen all there is to see in these open-world titles.
The Budmo quest is the perfect example of this, and you can get it by talking to the drunks in Slag Heap. You’ll have some important decisions to make in this quest, but first you’ll have to find some stashes.
Where To Find All Panas Stashes
Once you talk to the drunks in Slag Heap about the quest, they’ll tell you about three stashes and ask you to put a vodka bottle in each one for Panas’ safety. You can pick these bottles up from their table and the bigger table near it. The locations for these stashes will be marked on your map, and here’s how you can find them:
Power Transmission Pylon Stash |
When you get near this stash, you’ll see an electric structure with a fallen tree right beside it. You can walk on this tree and then jump on the wooden plank connecting to the bag. |
---|---|
Concrete Blocks Stash |
For the stash of concrete blocks, you’ll have to find a small well in the center of the area. You’ll also have to fight some rodent mutants here. The bag can be interacted with through a gap in the wooden planks covering the well. |
Poisonous Hole Stash |
The final stash can be found inside a cave to the left of the poisonous hole. If you find this as your first or second stash, you’ll have to find a small mutant here too. |
Each stash you find will be considered interacted with by the game if you take anything out of it or put something in it, including the vodka bottle.
What Should You Do With The Stashes?
Once you open any of the three stashes in the Budmo quest, you’ll be thoroughly surprised by their content since they’ll have some of the best stash loots in the game. At this point, you’ll have two choices:
- Be the nice person and put a vodka bottle in each one.
- Or steal everything from the stashes and keep it for yourself.
Before talking about the outcomes of these choices, it’s also important to mention that you’ll only be able to interact with the first two stashes. You’ll find Panas himself on the third one regardless of which choice you take. Now, if you’ve placed a vodka bottle in the stashes without stealing anything, Panas will give you another option.
You can either give him an Anti-Rad pill or another Vodka. You’ll get 1,300 coupons either way and your quest will be completed. The only difference is that your coupons will arrive instantly if you give him the Anti-Rad pill, whereas you’ll have to wait a few minutes for Panas to return to his friends in Slag Heap and then get the reward from them.
Of course, you’re also going to be deciding Panas’ future with this choice since he’ll leave Garbage and move forward if you give him the pills.
On the other hand, if you steal from his stashes, Panas will attack you when you meet him and you’ll have to put him down. Keep in mind that you can only loot the good items in the first two stacks, and here are your main choices in each one:
Power Transmission Pylon Stash |
Upgraded detector and two artifacts |
---|---|
Concrete Blocks Stash |
Two gun attachments and one SMG-type pistol |
Poisonous Hole Stash |
An upgraded helmet and an SMG. |
The quest will also fail once you defeat Panas, but you’ll walk away with the loot worth a lot more than 1,300 coupons.
