The Following Article Contains Spoilers Regarding The Choices Made In Isle Of The Gods Quest In Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Who Should Dismantle The Wards In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Before choosing who dismantles the wards, keep in mind that whoever is sent will succeed but get kidnapped by Elgar’nan and become unavailable for the rest of the game. You will reunite with the character you sent near the end of the game, and they will be infected with blight. If you don’t have a strong relationship with them, or they aren’t a Hero of the Veilguard, then there’s a high chance the character will succumb to the blight and die later on.
In short, choose the one that is Hero of the Veilguard to ensure the survivability of the character and if both have a high relationship, then send the one you are not romancing or the one you don’t use in battle much.
Should Bellara Dismantle The Wards In Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
If you send Bellara to dismantle the wards, Neve will disapprove and Bellara will disappear for the rest of the gameplay. Also, Bellara becomes unavailable during the Last Gambit quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, where players send companions to complete difficult tasks.
Bellara is an amazing healer who will help you through difficult fights with her supportive abilities, and all of that becomes unavailable if she dismantles the wards. Additionally, you will be locked out of the final romance scene where Rook and Bellara spend time together before the big battle.
Should Neve Dismantle The Wards In Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
Neve will appreciate Rook trusting her abilities, but similarly to Bellara, she gets kidnapped and blighted. In this case, Bellara will disapprove, and Neve is the character who disappears for the remainder of the game. Any unfinished business or a final romance scene will not be available.
If you choose to save Treviso in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Neve becomes hardened, and it’s a bit difficult to increase her relationship. So, she can die at the end of the game if she isn’t a Hero of the Veilguard or has a great relationship with Rook. In addition to her being a healer, if not hardened, Neve is an ice mage that can deal a lot of damage, and she will be a valuable companion during the Last Gambit quest.
