As Genshin Impact players familiarize themselves with Natlan, new characters with even more exciting playstyles come out. Ororon is the new Electro Sub DPS unit from the Masters of the Night Wind tribe and is said to be best used in Electro-Charged teams. However, this doesn’t mean you need to strictly slot Ororon into an Electro-Charged team, since he also does decently well on any team that creates an Elemental Reaction.
Since Ororon is a 4-star character, it might be easier pulling constellations for him which will be extremely advantageous should you choose to build him. His primary damage-dealing output comes from his Elemental Burst which is the perfect off-field damage Genshin Impact players need when their Main DPS is on-field. Either way, it’s always good to weigh the options and see whether Ororon’s constellations would be beneficial in the long run.

Mualani’s Shark Bite is considered Normal Attack although it uses Skill to cast, so Mualani’s build in Genshin Impact should boost Normal Attack.
Are Ororon’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Like most Genshin Impact characters, being a 4-star can indeed sometimes limit a character. This is not especially true with Ororon, but his constellations do give him a massive upgrade in comparison to not obtaining any. Except for his third and fifth constellations – which are merely talent upgrades, the rest of them boost his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. This is a must for Ororon and the priority goes as this C2 > C1> C6 > C4.
C1 – Trails Amidst The Forest Fog
Constellation |
Effect |
Importance |
---|---|---|
C1 |
The Elemental Skill Night Sling’s Spirit Orb can bounce 2 additional times. Additionally, after the Spirit Orb hits an opponent, it will apply the Nighttide effect to them for 12s. Opponents affected by Nighttide take 50% increased DMG from Hypersense triggered by the Passive Talent, “Nightshade Synethesia.” Unlock the aforementioned Passive Talent to trigger this effect. |
Priority |
If players aren’t looking to invest too much into Ororon, his C1 is pretty effective by itself. It mainly capitalizes on his Skill and allows it to stay on the field longer and apply the Nighttide effect. This means that the opponents affected by Nighttide will take DMG and the active character on the field will also gain a 20-25% increase in DMG from the electro application through the shockwaves.
C2 – King Bee Of The Hidden Honeyed Wine
Constellation |
Effect |
Importance |
---|---|---|
C2 |
After using his Elemental Burst, Dark Voices Echo, Ororon will obtain the Spiritual Supersense effect for 9s. Additionally, during this time, every additional opponent hit by the Elemental Burst Dark Voices Echo or Supersonic Oculus will grant Ororon a further 8% Electro DMG Bonus. The maximum that can be gained this way is a 32% Electro DMG Bonus. |
Priority |
With this constellation, Ororon gains an increased Electro Damage Bonus which stacks up to 32% when using his Elemental Burst state. This is a pretty good constellation to get as this works extremely well when fighting against three or more enemies. The team will be able to consistently obtain a 32% Electro DMG Bonus and since Ororon will be used in multiple rotations during the fight to activate the buff from his Burst, this constellation in his kit was made for AoE damage.
C4 – As The Mysteries Of The Night Wind
Constellation |
Effect |
Importance |
---|---|---|
C4 |
The Supersonic Oculus summoned by the Elemental Burst Dark Voices Echo rotates 25% faster. Additionally, Ororon will restore 8 Energy to himself after using Dark Voices Echo. |
Medium |
His C4 constellation is not too bad since it not only increases the speed of his Spirit Orb during his Elemental burst but also restores Energy to himself. The constellation isn’t as great as his C1 or C2, but obtaining the Energy restoration could help to some extent.
C6 – Ode To Deep Springs
Constellation |
Effect |
Importance |
---|---|---|
C6 |
After triggering Hypersense through the Passive Talent, Nightsahde Synesthesia, your current active character’s ATK is increased by 10% for 9s. Max 3 stacks, each stack is counted independently. Additionally, when you use the Elemental Burst Dark Voices Echo, you will trigger one instance of an effect equivalent to Hypersense, dealing 200% of its original DMG. |
High |
This is a must-have constellation for Ororon because if players manage to trigger his passive 3 times, the active character on the field receives a 10% ATK Bonus. Triggering his passive isn’t that hard either, because it only requires doing either Nightsoul-aligned damage or Electro-Charged reactions. The character on the field will then receive a good 30% ATK Bonus and if players utilize this kit well, they could see bigger numbers.
