Ororon Ascension Mats: Full Ascension and Talent Materials List

First revealed in a very brief appearance in the Natlan teaser trailer, Ororon was a character shrouded in mystery until the Archon Quest revealed him to be a rather important figure. In Genshin Impact‘s Natlan region, six great heroes are meant to awaken to save the Nation of Pyro from the Abyssal invasion, and it turns out that Ororon is one of these heroes, representing the Masters of the Night-Wind.

Players hoping to add this Electro bow user to their team will likely want to make sure he’s as powered up as possible. To achieve this, they’ll need to find the right materials for ascending him and leveling up his talents.

Ororon Leveling Materials

It doesn’t matter if you’re one of the six heroes of Natlan or just an ordinary person, you’ll need the same amount of EXP to level up. Here’s how much is needed between each ascension threshold:

Gemstones – Where to Find Vajrada Amethyst

As an Electro character, Ororon needs Vajrada Amethyst to ascend. It can be found a few ways, but most of it will likely come from defeating bosses that can drop it, which include the following:

*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Vajrada Amethyst when infused with Electro!

Local Specialty – Where to Find Glowing Hornshroom

This new local specialty was added in the same patch as Ororon. We don’t yet have a full list of locations yet, but check back soon for that guide. For now, we do know that Glowing Hornshrooms are found mainly around the Masters of the Night-Wind and Tezcatepetonco Range.

Boss Drop – How to Get Mark of the Binding Blessing

This boss drop can only be obtained by defeating the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant, located beneath Huitztli Hill. Be sure to bring a character with some ranged attacks, as well as any character who produces attacks that react with Pyro.

Enemy Drop – Where to Find Saurian Fangs

There’s no shortage of Natlan Saurian enemies dotted around the region, so players shouldn’t have too hard a time finding enough of their fang drops to ascend Ororon. But, be sure to check out our guide for farming routes if you need more!

Ororon Talent Materials

Despite being found in Fontaine, the All-Devouring Narwhal boss drops some items that really match Ororon’s aesthetic. He uses one of them, the Lightless Silk String, in his talent upgrades. Talent Books – Kindling

Ororon joins two other heroes of Natlan — Kinich and Xilonen — in using the Kindling series of talent books for his talents. These are obtainable from the Blazing Ruins domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Trounce Materials – Lightless Silk String

As previously mentioned, Ororon needs some Lightless Silk String from the All-Devouring Narwhal for his upper-level talent upgrades. This boss is found in the Shadow of Another World trounce in Fontaine, unlocked via the Fontaine Archon Quest.
