How To Romance Davrin In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Besides fighting monsters and saving the world in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players can also have a romantic relationship with one of their companions. The process is quite long, and you won’t see the actual results until close to the endgame.

Davrin is one of the seven available romance interests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. He is an elf who belongs to the Grey Warden Faction and was tasked to take care of the griffons. Rook will get to know him better after spending some time together in and out of battles.

How To Romance Davrin In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Romancing Davrin is quite straightforward in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. He’s also not the type to beat around the bush and prefers a direct approach. It doesn’t matter which type of tone you choose, whether it’s sympathetic, sarcastic, or forceful, as the main dialogue options that earn you affection points are when you aid him in being strict with Assan or supporting anything related to the Grey Warden. However, if there is an extra choice with a heart on it, always choose that one.

If you’re planning on having a romance with Davrin, you must complete his companion quests as they are the ones that create intimate moments and open a chance for Rook to flirt. Additionally, try to visit the Lighthouse as frequently as possible and have all the time-limited conversations. It’s also where Davrin will invite players to complete a personal task, aka his companion’s quests. Finally, try to keep him on your team if possible as, by the end of each quest or monster hunt, your bond with your current team will increase. How To Train A Griffon

Sometime in Act 1, after adding Davrin to the team, he asks you to go to Arlathan Forest with him to get some gingerwort truffles for Assan. Choose the ‘Behave, Assan’ option and then pick ‘Confidence is sexy’ to flirt with Davrin. Now, your relationship should be labeled as Thrill of the Chase.

The Cauldron (Express Interest)

After failing to retrieve the kidnapped griffons from the Cauldron in Act 2, Davrin would want to speak with you at the Lighthouse. Choose ‘You’re impressively skilled’ and ‘I like the thrill of a chase’. Rook and Davrin almost kiss but get interrupted by Assan. This will update your relationship with him to Hot and Bothered.

A Friend In Need (Commit To A Romance)

In Act 3, Davrin asks Rook for another outing to the Arlathan Forest to meet his old mentor. Choose ‘Davrin thinks so’ and ‘Better than ate a halla’ options to gain approval. Lastly, pick ‘I want to be with you’ to commit to a relationship with Davrin.

The Palate Of A Griffon

After completing some quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Davrin asks you on another short outing to the Arlathan Forest. He brews gingerwort truffles tea and makes light conversation. Pick ‘I’m glad you’re relaxing’ and ‘You’re here. I’ll be okay’ choices to flirt with Davrin.

The Profane And The Lost

After finally retrieving the kidnapped griffons, you return to the forest, and you can choose ‘We make a good team’ for extra affection points. Rook must also decide the griffons’ fate. The final title for Davrin is Griffon Daddy, which you achieve at level 9 or 10.

Before The Final Battle

After defeating Ghilan’nain, you return to the Lighthouse to prepare for Elgar’nan’s battle. If you choose Davrin to lead the distraction in the earlier battle, you will be locked out of this final romance scene. Before gathering your allies, head to your room to meet with Davrin and spend an intimate night together before the final battle.
