Fortnite Kicks Finally Coming Tomorrow

Fortnite is about to get a new update, one of the final patches of the Remix season. We’re expecting the planned changes to gameplay, but Epic has just announced a new feature is coming which was previously delayed. With the new update, we’ll see Fortnite Kicks enabled.

Starting with the launch of this season, we’ve known shoes were coming for cosmetic items. They were included in Fortnite leaks for a while before this. However, with the inclusion of a pair of shoes in the latest Battle Pass, they’ve become a reality. While not every skin will be included at first, this has the potential to change how most characters in the game look.

Shoes for Fortnite skins have already been shown off partially, with the shoes viewable on outfits in the locker. However, with Fortnite Kicks enabled we can now start to see them in games.

Fortnite Kicks Enabled Tomorrow

Tomorrow we’ll get our next batch of Fortnite patch notes. The previous patch included a few different delays, with Kicks being the biggest. This release was kicked back, without a clear release date. However, now only a week later, we’re getting them enabled in-game.

Kicks are equip-able shoes, with their own locker slot. You can select a pair of shoes and have any skin you own wear them. While not every outfit is included at first, more than 500 are coming at launch with most of them expected to be useable by Spring 2025.

The initial pair of Kicks for most players will be the Air Jordans, included in the Battle Pass. However, a number of other Nike shoes will be included in the store at launch. To celebrate this new release, players can get a free emote from the Item Shop starting when Fortnite Kicks are enabled. This is Show Em Off, an emote to fittingly show off your shoes.

This is a fun addition to Fortnite. Not everyone will get too much use out of them, however with some Fortnite skins they’ll definitely spice things up. You can start playing with Fortnite Kicks when they’re enabled tomorrow.
