In Clash Royale, the introduction of the Card Evolution has made the battles trickier, both for the player and the opponent. There are so many evolutions already in the game, and choosing the right two would be a tricky instance indeed. One of the latest introductions to the same will be the Cannon Evolution, and keeping the card in mind, let us deduce the best decks one can use in Clash Royale featuring the Cannon for various Events and Challenges.
Best Cannon Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale
Introduced during the November 2024 Season 65 update, the Evolved Cannon introduces a unique ability called Deploy Barrage, launching nine explosive projectiles in two rows. These projectiles damage and knock back both ground and air units.
The ability doesn’t harm Crown Towers but covers up to a 2.5-tile radius, targeting clustered enemy troops effectively. Cannon Evolution activates every third deployment, with no changes to its stats. Keeping this in mind, we will get the best decks to use for the game.
1. Cannon, Archer Queen, X-Bow, Fireball, The Log, Fire Spirit, Skeletons, Knight
Average Elixir Cost: 3.1
Notoriously known as the Queen-Bow deck, this gets a boost with the addition of the Evolution Cannon and Evolution Knight as well. This deck focuses on a defensive X-Bow siege strategy, where X-Bow is placed defensively to control the battlefield and chip away at enemy towers.
Archer Queen supports from a distance, applying pressure and taking down enemy units. Fireball and The Log are key control spells whereas they alongside Fire Spirits and Skeletons offer additional defense against swarms. Very solid deck if you play your cards right. You can copy the deck here.
2. Cannon, Goblinstein, Goblin Drill, Poison, Bomber, Guards, Ice Spirit, The Log
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
Pairing with the recently released Champion card Goblinstein, this deck becomes godly while defending. The Champion acts as a tank and anti-swarm tool, with additional support from Poison, Bomber, and Ice Spirit to clear swarms and keep the pushes in check.
The Cannon serves as the primary defense while the Goblin Drill continues to apply pressure. Make sure you are using the Evolution Goblin Drill here. The Log and Guards are great at ground swarms and applying bait for the opponent’s pushes. You can copy the deck here.
3. Cannon, Musketeer, Fireball, Hog Rider, The Log, Ice Spirit, Skeletons, Ice Golem
Average Elixir Cost: 2.9
The third and final deck from my end is not new at all, but it utilizes the latest evolutions that came together effectively. Having both Cannon and Musketeer in their evo form is a big boost for this already balanced deck.
The deck focuses on quick cycling with Skeletons and Ice Golem, the latter serving as both a tank and distraction. Hog Rider is the main win condition, supported by Ice Spirit for surprise pushes. While Fireball and The Log handle swarms, both clear a path for Hog Rider. You can copy the deck here.
Final Thoughts
To be honest, while the suggested decks provide a solid foundation, experimenting with other combinations can also yield great results, depending on your playstyle and opponents. Mixing up cards and decks can help you find what works best, and applying proven strategies will certainly give you an edge.
So, keep testing out different strategies and adapt them to the situation in your battles for the best results.
