As a result, players can focus entirely on maximizing Crit DMG in their artifact builds, making it easier to achieve the ideal Crit Value ratio for peak performance.
That said, players who have had poor luck farming for Obsidian Codex artifacts may want to consider alternative sets until they can get their hands on better pieces. One strong option is the 4-piece Marechaussee Hunter, which pairs exceptionally well with Chasca when teamed up with Furina, one of her top support options. The Crit Rate boost on normal and charged attacks synergizes well with Chasca’s playstyle, as the DMG from her Nightsoul State still will count as those, despite not scaling with the Normal Attack Talent. Another potential option is the 4-piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence.
