Chasca introduces a unique playstyle to Genshin Impact, leveraging Elemental Conversion to adapt her attacks based on her team’s elemental composition, making her a versatile main DPS with strong potential as an elemental reaction driver. By incorporating elements from her teammates into her attacks, Chasca can trigger various reactions, offering high adaptability in her team setups.

These are some of the best factions in the Genshin Impact that add to the story’s lore.
Given that Chasca’s ascension stat boosts her Crit Rate and can be further enhanced by the Obsidian Codex artifact set, she benefits more from weapons that provide Crit DMG rather than additional Crit Rate. Overcapping Crit Rate would diminish her stat efficiency, so prioritizing weapons with high Crit DMG will allow her to deal higher DMG. Alongside Crit DMG, stats like ATK% and Charged Attack DMG are also valuable for increasing her damage, considering her playstyle despite her damage not directly scaling with the Normal Attack talent. Fortunately, there are several excellent weapon choices for Chasca, catering to both premium and F2P players in Genshin Impact.
7 Flower-Wreathed Feathers
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 41.3% ATK
- R1 Effect: Decreases Gliding Stamina consumption by 15%. When using Aimed Shots, the DMG dealt by Charged Attacks increases by 6% every 0.5s. This effect can stack up to 6 times and will be removed 10s after leaving Aiming Mode.
Although Flower-Wreathed Feathers ranks lower on the weapon list for Chasca at base refinement, this is primarily due to its recent release, making it difficult for most players to obtain multiple copies for refinement. However, it’s a solid option for Chasca, particularly when refined, as it offers a substantial boost to Charged Attack DMG, which is a core part of her playstyle. With a high ATK secondary stat, this weapon can complement her ATK scaling effectively. When refined beyond the base level, Flower-Wreathed Feathers can even outperform other F2P choices like Song of Stillness, making it a worthy consideration for players who can invest the time and resources into enhancing it.
6 Scion of the Blazing Sun
- Primary Stat: 564 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 18.4% Crit Rate
- R1 Effect: After a Charged Attack hits an opponent, a Sunfire Arrow will descend upon the opponent hit, dealing 60% ATK as DMG, and applying the Heartsearer effect to the opponent damaged by said Arrow for 10s. Opponents affected by Heartsearer take 28% more Charged Attack DMG from the wielder. A Sunfire Arrow can be triggered once every 10s.
While Scion of the Blazing Sun has a Crit Rate secondary stat, which might seem redundant, it still remains a strong choice due to its effect. The Charged Attack DMG debuff applied to enemies enhances her damage output significantly. Additionally, the high base ATK for a 4-star weapon complements her scaling well. This weapon allows players to lean into Crit DMG and ATK% for artifact stats, potentially simplifying the build process.
However, it is important to note that Scion of the Blazing Sun is not easily accessible for F2P players, as it is tied to Battle Pass. For those who do have access, refining this weapon can push its performance ahead of other 4-star options like Song of Stillness, but without refinements, its value might fall short compared to other alternatives.
5 Skyward Harp
- Primary Stat: 674 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 22.1% Crit Rate
- R1 Effect: Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.
Skyward Harp is a solid 5-star option for Chasca, largely due to its accessibility in the standard banner pool, making it more attainable over time compared to limited banner weapons. Despite its Crit Rate secondary stat potentially leading to an overcap in certain builds, it compensates with a very high base ATK and an additional Crit DMG bonus from its passive effect. This synergizes well with Chasca’s playstyle, allowing her to reach high Crit Value while maintaining strong base stats.
However, the secondary effect of Skyward Harp, which involves a physical AoE hit, is less beneficial for Chasca, as her damage focuses on Elemental DMG rather than physical hits.
4 Song of Stillness
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 41.3% ATK
- R5 Effect: After the wielder is healed, they will deal 32% more DMG for 8s. This can be triggered even when the character is not on the field.
Song of Stillness, the craftable bow from Fontaine, stands out as the best F2P option for Chasca. Its secondary stat provides a significant ATK boost, which synergizes well with Chasca’s ATK-scaling kit. The weapon’s passive effect offers up to a 32% DMG increase at max refinement, as long as Chasca remains healed every 8 seconds. This condition is quite manageable with proper team support, especially when paired with characters like Bennett, Furina, or even Xilonen, who are already some of her best team member options.
3 The First Great Magic
- Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 66.2% CRIT DMG
- R1 Effect: DMG dealt by Charged Attacks increased by 16%. For every party member with the same Elemental Type as the wielder (including the wielder themselves), gain 1 Gimmick stack. For every party member with a different Elemental Type from the wielder, gain 1 Theatrics stack. When the wielder has 1/2/3 or more Gimmick stacks, ATK will be increased by 16%/32%/48%. When the wielder has 1/2/3 or more Theatrics stacks, Movement SPD will be increased by 4%/7%/10%.
Lyney’s signature weapon, The First Great Magic can provide Chasca with very high Crit DMG while also helping her with the Charged Attack effect this weapon provides. However, the rest of the effect doesn’t entirely synergize with Chasca, since unlike Lyney, who benefits from having same-element characters in the team, Chasca prefers her team members to be of different elements than Anemo. With that, she will gain more movement speed instead of being able to gain further ATK in most of her ideal team compositions.
2 Aqua Simulacra
- Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 88.2% CRIT DMG
- R1 Effect: HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not.
Aqua Simulacra is the best weapon option for Chasca after her signature, thanks to its exceptionally high Crit DMG secondary stat of 88%. While the HP increase isn’t very useful for Chasca beyond some survivability, the other effect, which increases her DMG as long as there are opponents nearby, is quite useful.
1 Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage
- Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 66.2% CRIT DMG
- R1 Effect: For 12s after triggering a Swirl reaction, ATK increases by 24%. In addition, when 1/2 or more characters in the party are of a different Elemental Type from the equipping character, the DMG dealt by the equipping character’s Charged Attacks is increased by 20%/48% and Elemental Burst DMG dealt is increased by 10%/24%.
Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage is essentially the same as The First Great Magic in terms of their primary and secondary stats, offering high base ATK and Crit DMG. However, they differ in their effects. Unsurprisingly, as the signature weapon made for Chasca, Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage synergizes very well with her, enhancing each part of its effect. The high ATK buff, Charged Attack buff, and Elemental Burst DMG buff are all easily attainable and maintainable for Chasca in most of her ideal team comps. However, it’s worth noting that even without her signature weapon, Chasca is still quite strong, and players should not feel compelled to pull for it, as it remains a relatively niche bow – unless players really want to invest in Chasca heavily.
