Each Hunter in Supervive has their own abilities, a unique way of attacking, and strengths and weaknesses. Naturally, however, some Hunters require more skill than others, making them ill-suited for players who are still learning the basics. With that in mind, the following are the best Supervive Hunters for beginners. There is one for each category of Hunters, these being Fighter, Initiator, Frontliner, Protector, and Controller.

5 Kingpin

A Hook, A Stun, Tankiness & Close Range Damage

Supervive Kingpin Hunter

Kingpin is an Initiator in Supervive, which means he’s capable of getting a fight started while tanking lots of damage. His signature ability is his long-range hook, that pulls anyone hit in. This can be used on squishy enemies for easy kills as a team, or Kingpin can save an ally, bringing them back to safety. This pull can even be used on dead allied Wisps, who can then be revived.

Looking at Kingpin’s other abilities, he has a close-range stun that is easy to use and works perfectly after pulling an enemy in. His dash is split into two parts with separate cooldowns, including an air-dash which is much safer for beginners to use, rather than worrying about taking damage while gliding and getting one shot. This is known as Spiking. Kingpin’s ultimate is also super simple to understand. He fires out two waves of bullets at short range for lots of damage. Even his autos are simple, and aiming isn’t the biggest of problems.

4 Ghost

A Classic Soldier With An Automatic Riffle, Grenades, & A Napalm Strike

Supervive Ghost Hunter

For those coming over from shooter Battle Royale games and just getting started in Supervive, Ghost is a good first choice, as he is a classic soldier. He shoots an automatic riffle that is best used in short sprays. His dash ability on Shift is a combat slide that resets after killing enemies.

Gamers who enjoy playing war games by themselves will find plenty to occupy their time with the following examples.

Ghost’s RMB ability is a Spike Grenade which dazes enemies, meaning they take more damage from his gun and Q ability. Speaking of his Q, Ghost fires a long-range beam that can go through terrain. Finally, Ghost’s ult calls down a Napalm strike in a circle, dealing burst damage and then burn damage to those who stay on it.

3 Elluna

Heals, Roots, & A Resurect

Supervive Elluna Hunter

Healers in video games are typically among the easiest, and while Elluna has plenty of depth for skilled players to explore, she is also fairly easy to get to grips with. The first thing to note is that she can pick up allied Wisps (downed teammates) and she will gain a shield for doing so at the cost of some movement speed. This allows her to revive allies more easily.

Elluna’s RMB fires off a binding that after connecting, will root enemies after a short delay. Her dash is useful for repositioning or escaping as she travels much further while in the air. The healing part of Elluna starts with her Q, which spawns a healing zone around her. She can press Q again to throw this zone at an ally. Finally, Elluna’s ultimate heals allies or allied Wisps, and can even revive them. If players are worried about managing mana, then fear not, as Elluna restores mana with her basic attacks.

2 Felix

Get On The Enemy & Burn Them From Close Range While Refusing To Die

Supervive Felix Hunter

The premise of the fiery fox, Felix in Supervive is simple. Get on top of the enemy and burn them. He does this primarily with his flamethrower, which can be held down and doesn’t require too much aiming. His RMB is also simple, as he fires out an Embry Bolt that deals damage and knocks enemies back slightly.

Felix’s dash also knocks back enemies, while damaging and igniting them. To keep Felix safe while tanking lots of damage, his Q will grant him a large shield if he hits any enemies with the fiery circle around himself. These enemies are also pulled in and damaged. The most fun aspect of Felix’s kit, however, is his ultimate, where he flies forward, setting the ground on fire as he goes. He can use this to go in or to flee.

1 Celeste

Skate Around, Slow Enemies, Push Them With An Ice Wall & Become Invulnerable

Supervive Celeste Hunter

Celeste is one of the Controller Hunters in Supervive, meaning she zones enemies and uses crowd control. None of these are unlocked at the start of the game, as they are slightly harder to understand. Out of the Controllers though, she is arguably the simplest. Celeste is all about Ice, and as such, her RMB ability is a Cryo Spear which slows enemies before detonating for damage.

Even more fitting, is her ability to skate around using Shift and her icy autos deal more damage while skating. Celeste’s Q is one of her most iconic, as she creates an ice wall that surges forward, pushing enemies and blocking projectiles. Last of all is her ultimate, which makes her invulnerable while locked in ice. The icy circle around her slows enemies, and if they are still in it at the end, they will be stunned and take damage. This is a get-out-of-jail-free card and one of the abilities that makes Celeste a great beginner Hunter in Supervive.
