Netflix announced that Alice in Borderland Season 3 will arrive sometime in 2025. There is also the idea that this time the game could go to the players, perhaps bringing Borderland into modern Tokyo, though that seems like it would be a hard trick to pull off. It’s also possible with so long a break between Season 2 and Season 3 that it could a bunch of new faces getting forced to play the games.
Season 2 saw Arisu and his friends seemingly clear the games after going head-to-head with the Queen of Hearts. She told them that Borderland is actually a virtual simulation and that they are 1,000 years in the future, but there is some doubt as to whether she was telling the truth.
However, with the main stars of Alice in Borderland seemingly playing their way to the end of the games, it is possible the Netflix series, which is based on a popular Manga, will instead focus on other characters that are either drawn into a new set of games or focus on those who played alongside Arisu but were able to avoid some of the more deadly games. Fans of the series will get to find out, sometime in 2025.
