The First Descendant: Best Mods For Bunny
Bunny is already a powerful character in The First Descendent, but these modules make her a beast on the battlefield.
Freyna is a great example of a well-rounded playable character, as she’s not at all tanky, and can manipulate venom however she wants to deal with her enemies. Along with Bunny, she’s one of the fastest characters in the game and makes for a great playing experience. Not to mention her wonderful overall appearance combining black and green, which fully conveys the poisonous menace she represents. To make the most out of this character and decimate the game’s enemies, here are the best Mods for Freyna.
Updated on November 19, 2024, by Gerardo Molina: The First Descendant has been out for a while now, which means that players have had hundreds of hours to get more involved in discovering its secrets and perfect the various builds the game allows for. To this day, Freyna remains one of the best overall characters to play as, due to her skills, speed, and how well she pairs with certain Modules that maximize her power.
After further experimentation, there are a few more Modules that deserve to make this list in order to help players make Freyna deadlier than ever. As a side note, it should be mentioned that, since there are several ways to get many of the Modules below, only one will be listed on each table to keep things concise.
6 Battle Of Stamina
A Formidable Increase In Health And Skill Duration
How To Get |
Fortress (Hard) – Convertor Facility: Vulgus Strategic Outpost Complete |
Capacity Cost |
6 |
Module Socket Type |
Cerulean |
When it comes to endurance and maximizing the killing capabilities of Freyna, few Modules are as effective as Battle of Stamina. This Module not only increases Freyna’s Max HP by 12%, but also makes skills last 8.80% longer.
What’s more, these stats are at a base level, so if players want to maximize this Module’s efficiency, increasing it to level 10 will grant Freyna a 122.30% boost in HP. Regardless of the level, the skill duration increase will remain the same, but even in that case, having more health always comes in handy.
5 Dangerous Ambush
A Great Boost In Skill Power
How To Get |
Intercept Battle: (Hard) Swamp Walker |
Capacity Cost |
6 |
Module Socket Type |
Xantic |
Staying out of enemies’ sights is critical in The First Descendant, but not only to avoid being struck by their attacks, but also to get bonuses like the one Dangerous Ambush unlocks. When landing a Skill Attack on an enemy who’s not targeting Freyna, players’ Skill Power will be boosted by a certain percentage. For this Module’s base level, the Skill Power increase will be 6%, and at level 7, it will be a whopping 24.9%.
Additionally, if an enemy is immobilized, Skill Power is boosted by 12% at base level, and by 49.80% at level 7.
4 Neurotoxin Synthesis
More ATK Reduction By Sacrificing Poison Spread
How To Get |
Swamp Walker Intercept Battle (Hard) |
Capacity Cost |
16 |
Module Socket Type |
Xantic |
Freyna is one of the most versatile characters in The First Descendant, as her attacks’ area of effect can be widespread, inflicting damage and long-lasting effects on enemies. Freyna could be considered as a Stealth-based character by many players, as she can poison enemies and wait for them to die, which can be a great advantage in scenarios where facing danger head on can be lethal and ineffective.
With a Xantic Socket Module Type, the Neurotoxin Synthesis Mod is one of the best Freyna can use. It has an average Capacity Cost of 16 and can be obtained by completing the Swamp Walker Intercept Battle in Hard Difficulty. This Module modifies the effect of Room 0 to stop spreading Poison, but to cause enemies to lose ATK power and weaken their Regeneration speed and abilities. This Module can be very useful against swarms of enemies with high HP or particularly strong damage resistance. With Neurotoxin Synthesis, Freyna is one hell of a companion when playing co-op.
3 Toxic Stimulation
Great To Grant Additional Power To Allies
How To Get |
Fortress and White-night Gulch Mission Monster (Normal) |
Capacity Cost |
15 |
Module Socket Type |
Cerulean |
In The First Descendant and any other game, for that matter, having a companion class that can grant allies additional power and passive effects is a great advantage and can be the difference between victory and defeat. Through the Toxic Stimulation Module, Freyna can strengthen her allies’ defense by granting them Plague Bodyarmor—quite useful when bullets are flying through the air.

The First Descendant: All Ultimate Weapons & How to Get Them
There are several different Ultimate Weapons in The First Descendant, and knowing what they are and how to obtain them is important.
This Mod has a Capacity Cost of 15, a Cerulean Module Socket Type, and can be obtained by either defeating the Fortress and White-night Gulch Mission Monster in Normal Difficulty, or completing either the White-night Gulch – Mountaintops, Fortress, or Defense Line mission in Normal and Hard Difficulties. Toxic Stimulation can be a great help to win a battle, but players should be wary not to overuse it, as it can render Freyna unable to take advantage of other Modules if her Capacity is too low.
2 Venom Synthesis
How To Get |
Sterile Land – Laboratory and Mission Monster (Normal and Hard) |
Capacity Cost |
14 |
Module Socket Type |
Rutile |
“Curiosity killed the cat”, is a famous saying that, as many unfortunate people have discovered, rings quite true and can be applied to everyday life. And luckily for Freyna, this also applies in The First Descendant with the help of the Venom Synthesis Module. This amazing module takes advantage of the Putrid Venom Skill Conversion and leaves behind a toxic footprint with every step Freyna takes. When unsuspecting enemies come into contact with said footprints while approaching Freyna or investigating the area, they’ll sustain Poison damage with a long-lasting effect.
This can be great for situations where Freyna is surrounded and outnumbered, as all she has to do is use this Mod, get the enemy’s attention, and have them follow her while stepping on her footprints. Venom Synthesis has a relatively low Capacity Cost of 14 and uses a Rutile Module Socket Type. It can be obtained by defeating the Laboratory Mission Monster in the Sterile Land area in both Normal and Hard Difficulties.
1 Contagion
Spreading Poison, One Enemy At A Time
How To Get |
Dead Bride Intercept Battles (Hard) |
Capacity Cost |
17 |
Module Socket Type |
Rutile |
Few things are as satisfying as turning an enemy into a bioweapon of mass destruction, but if someone knows how to do it well, it’s Freyna. By equipping the Contagion Module and taking advantage of the Room 0 Trauma affliction, Freyna can kill an enemy with said affliction, causing it to spread contagion in every direction, affecting other enemies. This would classify the Contagion Mod as having a wide AoE—quite useful in many situations.
