Trinkets in Windblown, the multiplayer roguelite developed by Motion Twin, are powerful abilities that can be equipped to your Leaper that can drastically alter the flow of combat. These trinkets can have a variety of effects, from damaging foes to inflicting them with debilitating status effects.
Windblown can be played alone or with up to three players, and each are able to equip up to two trinkets per character. Certain trinkets synergize best with others and with the other abilities you will acquire during each run, leading to many potential strategies. No two runs in Windblown are exactly the same.

Detonado
Attracts Enemies
Detonado is a trinket that places a bomb that will attract enemies towards it before exploding. The explosion deals 150 damage and the cooldown is 35 seconds. Like Leafade, this trinket can also be used to give you time to escape combat while your enemies are distracted.
This explosion does less damage than the Bomb trinket, but will allow you to distance yourself from the fight while doing so. In a game as fast and Windblown, every second counts.

Frost Nova
Freezes Enemies
The Frost Nova trinket can be used to both slow and damage enemies. All enemies in the area surrounding your Leaper will be hit with the Freeze status effect, freezing them in place and opening them up for an attack that can deal 50 percent increased damage.

Additionally, all nearby allies will gain the Burn Infusion effect, granting their weapons and abilities the Burn status also. Burn Aura can be used every 30 seconds.
