PS Plus Premium Subscribers Now Have 17 New Games to Play

Key Takeaways

  • 17 new games are available for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.
  • Some heavy hitters include Grand Theft Auto 5, Dying Light 2, and Chivalry 2, as well as classics like Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
  • The service is losing 19 games this month.

It’s a big day for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, as 17 new games are now available to play on the service. On top of the three monthly titles every PlayStation Plus tier gained access to earlier in November, Premium users have access to 12 additional titles available in PS Plus Extra, as well as another five Premium-only options.

Roughly 10 to 20 titles come to PS Plus Extra and Premium each month, though not every cycle sees a change quite as big as this one. While the service is losing a considerable number of games this month, subscribers will have no shortage of both classics and new favorites to try from now through mid-December.

Best PlayStation Plus Games (November 2024)

PS Plus Extra and Premium have some of the greatest PlayStation games from across the console brand’s history, and here are the best of the best.

After a price hike caused PS Plus earnings to rise by 18% in 2024, Sony’s certainly giving players their money’s worth. Headlining November’s lineup are a handful of modern classics, including Grand Theft Auto 5, Dying Light 2, and Chivalry 2. Premium users will also get the chance to dive into some PS1 and PS2-era titles with the Blood Omen series, as well as a virtual reality option in Synapse for PS VR2. The PS3’s Resistance series is also coming to the platform alongside a plethora of newer PS4 and PS5 games, so there’s truly something for everyone in the lineup.

New PlayStation Plus Premium Games for November 2024

  • Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
  • Blood Omen 2
  • Resistance: Fall of Man
  • Resistance 2
  • Synapse

Four of the five Premium-exclusive games this month are older titles, all originally released before the PS4 era. The fifth, Synapse, is newer but is exclusive to VR users. This isn’t the first time that PS Plus Premium has added VR-only games, and it is a nice treat for players with a PS VR2 headset, but those without may feel a little left out by this addition. Still, it’s hard to say there aren’t enough games to play, considering the 12 PS4 and PS5 titles available on PS Plus Extra, which Premium subscribers also get access to.

The dozen new games for PS Plus Extra this month are:

  • Chivalry 2
  • Clash: Artifacts of Chaos
  • Digimon Survive
  • Dying Light 2
  • Grand Theft Auto 5
  • Hungry Shark World
  • Killer Frequency
  • Like a Dragon: Ishin!
  • MotoGP 24
  • Overcooked
  • The Sims 4: Island Living
  • Stick Fight: The Game

Of course, a new month also means PS Plus Premium and Extra will lose a handful of games, too. Unfortunately, the number of disappearing titles rivals the amount of new ones, with PS Plus losing 19 games this November. That’s a net loss for subscribers unless players count the three monthly titles Essential-tier users get. Still, there’s a lot of new content to dive into this month between these 17 games, no matter what era players have the most nostalgia for.
