How To Use Priority Pass

In Planet Coaster 2, you’re in charge of building your theme park from the ground up. Over time, you’ll unlock new attractions, build new rides, ensure proper facilities for all your visitors, and watch your park rating soar as people flock to your amusement park daily.

As you progress through the game, you’ll notice that some of your rides are more popular than others. Visitors will stand in line for hours just to get their chance at the ride. At that point, you’ll also notice some visitors complaining about the long queue time. Priority Pass is how you address this problem in Planet Coaster 2. How To Add Priority Pass In Planet Coaster 2

Priority Pass is a ticketing system that players can use for their popular rides in Planet Coaster 2. When enabled, visitors can get to the front of the queue by paying extra. That means impatient guests can enjoy the rides faster, and you can make extra profit from it. This option works great for popular rides in your park.

To add a Priority Pass, click on the ride you want to modify and head to the Finances tab. From this menu, set the Priority Queue to Enabled, and you’re pretty much set. However, you’ll also have to set up a Guest Services Facility near the ride — so your guests can buy Priority Pass tickets. It works the same way as Pool Passes.

You’ll have to set up Priority Passes for each ride individually.

With the Priority Pass enabled, you can also decide how often the Priority Pass holders get access to a ride. You’ll also find this option in the Finances section of the ride. You’ve got three options: High Priority, Medium Priority, and Low Priority.

If your Priority Pass guests have to wait in long queues, they will get annoyed and start complaining.

After turning on the Priority Pass, you must set up a Priority Entrance and a Priority Queue. This one is separate from the main entrance, but you’ll still have to connect it to the main path, so guests can use it. When you enable the Priority Queue, the game automatically asks you to build a Priority Entrance.

After placing the entrance, connect it to the main path using the Path Building Tool, and your Priority Queue should be set. However, for the guests to use it, you’ll want to build a Planet Coaster 2 Guest Services Facility nearby, which you can find in the Build Browser.

Now that you’ve set up the Priority Queue, let’s look at how to profit from it in Planet Coaster 2. The game lets you set custom prices on all your rides and attractions, including the price of the Priority Pass.

As stated earlier, you’ll have to make a Guest Services Facility so that your visitors can buy the Priority Pass. By default, the Priority Pass costs $10.00. However, you can increase or decrease the price of the Priority Pass in the Park Management menu.

You can also set the entrance fees from this menu.

Head to the Park Options section in the Park Management menu. Navigate to the Priority Pass section and change the Ticket Type to Custom. Now, enter the price you want to set for the Priority Pass. Impatient guests will now buy the Priority Pass at the new price to benefit from a shorter queue time in Planet Coaster 2.
