Bigfoot, also known as the Dark Creature, can be found in a few locations during the night. Namely, this includes Pelican Town, the Cindersap Forest, the Backwoods, and the Secret Woods. Currently, Bigfoot may also be spotted in other areas that have forest areas. The great part of this Easter Egg is that, much like the real-life cryptid, not much is known about it!

Unlike the other dark creature from the Strange Capsule, there are no prerequisites to see the Dark Creature. At any point (during the night) from the start of the game, you may spot Bigfoot wandering in these areas.

It’s worth noting that the Bigfoot Dark Creature is bigger than the creature from the Strange Capsule. Check out this post from Reddit user Physical_Formal_6649, where Bigfoot can be spotted in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, passing the little pond.

Overall, the chances of seeing Bigfoot are relatively low. This isn’t to say it is impossible though! If you really want to catch a glimpse of Bigfoot, we suggest wandering around the valley at night, looking around the edges of your screen.

Bigfoot doesn’t seem to actually do anything besides wander around at the corners of your screen. Seeing him won’t trigger any events or quests.
