How To Get Fan Letters in HoloCure
To unlock the Fan Letters feature, players need to first purchase the corresponding upgrade from the Ability section of the Shop, which costs a total of 50,000 HoloCoins. Once unlocked, defeating fans in the main game mode grants a small chance for Fan Letters to drop. A pink triangle marks the location of a dropped Fan Letter, which players must pick up to receive its bonus. If the Fan Letter is not collected—whether due to the player dying or the stage ending—the bonus will not be obtained.
Each Fan Letter associated with a fandom can only drop from its corresponding fans, which may not appear in all stages. Additionally, a few Fan Letters are not tied to any fandom, such as those obtained from defeating A-chan, Harusaki Nodoka, and Staff. While most Fan Letters are associated with a Fandom, the permanent bonuses that they provide apply to all characters.
Playing as a specific character increases the odds of their fandom’s Fan Letters dropping. For example, playing as Sakura Miko boosts the drop chance of her fandom’s Fan Letters when defeating 35P, Kintoki, and Mikodanye. Players can further enhance drop rates by purchasing the Gold Rabbit’s Foot from the Usada Casino for one million UsaChips, which increases Fan Letter drop rates by 20%.
