One part of Activision’s latest game’s meta that is getting particularly annoying for players, though, is the prominence of smoke grenades.

It’s a major frustration for players, so much so that a recent Reddit thread has garnered almost 1,000 upvotes and 350 comments.
The thread’s creator, sweatyom, posted it with the message, “I don’t know what the answer is or how to fix it but every match being flooded with smoke grenades all over the map is really getting old.”
Smoke grenades were called the “cowards method” and a “rookie movie,” with one player saying that “the smokes are to help them individually, not help the team.”
