I appreciate you all answering and giving some personal insights everyone.

@monkey602 It sounds like you’ve found a healthy balance and it’s great that you can get together with your mates and you have that social element.

@TiredGamer I completely understand about the open world games. I mean when GTA III came out (shows my age) I loved it so much! It was an incredible city that was so exciting and felt so alive! Now, I have a library full of open world games that I think I want to play and so I install one and boot it up and then… it just seems like killing time performing tasks rather than living an adventure. ‘I’m getting old and tired of where things have gone. TiredGamer I have become.’ 🤣.

@darthv72 That’s interesting that playing handheld brings you closer, literally, to the games. I have thought about getting the PS Portal as the TV requires so much… commitment! I got into Dave the Diver for a while and that would’ve been great for playing in the bedroom. I’ve actually got a Switch and have never used it in handheld mode!

Thanks again everyone, I was probably just having a moment! There are a lot of games that are trending and perhaps I feel I’m missing out or not participating by not playing. I have been a bit consumed by my new job this last year. I think I just need to focus on the few titles I really want most.
