With respect to what players should do while waiting for the game’s global release time to arrive, those who will be playing on Xbox Series X/S may want to start pre-loading the title. Indeed, the console version of the game is now available for pre-load, and it may take players quite a while to get it installed due to STALKER 2‘s massive file size.
Unfortunately, PC players will not have the opportunity to pre-load the game prior to release, and they will need to start their downloads at the global launch time. This means that fans who are playing on PC may not be entering STALKER 2‘s Zone until several hours after launch, as it can take some time to download a 150GB game.
Despite the absence of an opportunity to pre-load the game, there are still some incentives for PC players to pre-order STALKER 2.
