Key Takeaways
- Pokemon showcased its Vandythepink collection at the weekend and it goes on sale this week.
- The range includes t-shirts, pants, and a hoodie with all 151 of the original Pokemon on the back.
- There are also four fleece hoodies themed after different Pokemon with ears and accessories sewn into their hoods.
The Pokemon Company is unmatched when it comes to unique collaborations, and there’s a big one coming our way this week. Pokemon has teamed up with Vandythepink for a unique line of clothing it showed off during ComplexCon over the weekend, and all of the items showcased during the convention will be available to buy starting from November 19, 2024.
No fewer than 14 items make up the high-end fashion brand’s new collection with pants, t-shirts, and hoodies among the offerings. The highlight of the range, for me at least as it’s the item I’ll be trying to get my hands on once the listings go live on Tuesday, is a white hoodie that features every single one of the original 151 Pokemon.

Cramming that many Pokemon onto a single item of clothing might make it sound like its design would feel a little crowded, but the minimalistic approach with small silhouettes of every Pokemon featured on the hoodie’s back works really well. If you’d like something with fewer Pokemon on, but don’t want to limit yourself to just one, there are two styles of pants in the range that feature similar silhouettes down the back of each leg.
An Expansive Pokemon x Vandythepink Collection Is Coming This Week
I Didn’t Know I Needed A Hoodie That Makes Me Look Like Machop Until Right Now
While Vandythepink’s focus is clearly the Kanto region – like it or not, that’s what sells, particularly when it comes to more expensive products aimed at older Pokemon fans – the other 800+ Pokemon created since haven’t been forgotten about entirely. Fleece hoodies in Umbreon and Espeon colors with the ears to match on their hoods will also be released on Tuesday, as will a black hoodie with Minun and Plusle on the back.
Snorlax and Machop fleeced hoodies are also included in the collection, and while prices won’t be revealed until the listings go live, it seems likely the rather fetching Pikachu and Charizard varsity jackets will almost certainly be the most expensive items in the range. It’s tricky to gauge exactly how much the items are going to cost, however, the non-collab hoodies currently available on the Vandythepink site cost slightly north of $100.
Potential prices aside, at least the Vandythepink collection will seemingly be available to buy in the US. That much can’t be said about the Gold & Silver anniversary range revealed by Pokemon last week. The loaded celebration collection includes some snazzy jackets of its own along with premium plushes, Moo Moo Milk eraser tape, and so much more. It seems almost inevitable the range will sell well in Japan which hopefully means it’ll be rolled out in the US for the games‘ stateside anniversary in 2025.
