How To Repair The Pet Shop
On the morning of day five, an earthquake will hit the island. This won’t affect your farm, but the next time you go into town, a lot of the region will be damaged, and several shops and locations will be destroyed.
Head over to the northwestern corner of the town, and you’ll find the Pet Shop near the staircase that leads to Arianne’s house, and its owner, Zara, standing in front of it.
Speak to her, and you’ll end up with a quest to restore the shop. All you’ll need for the first set of repairs is five Farm Planks, which are crafted from Farm Logs at a Sawmill, and five Fibers, which are crafted from Reeds at a Simple Workbench.
When you’ve got everything ready, return to the Pet Shop and interact with it while you’ve got the materials in your inventory.
The ruined Pet Shop will turn into the Broken Pet Shop, but you won’t be finished yet; you’ll have a new set of materials to collect to finish the repair.
