Using follow-up attacks is one of the most effective ways to play Honkai: Star Rail. It’s also seen continual investment, with new characters using the mechanic. Moze is a fantastic four-star addition to the roster, and can elevate follow-up teams or carry one on his own if necessary.

Honkai: Star Rail – Best Team Compositions For Imaginary March 7th
A familiar face, you can use Imaginary March 7th as a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail. But which party would be good for her?
Moze fits into most follow-up attack team compositions, but his best teams should come as little surprise to most players.

Moze and Feixiao have amazing synergy, as you’d expect from close confidants who’ve worked together for years. And while Feixiao is undoubtedly the main DPS in this lineup, Moze offers solid supplemental damage that focuses on Feixiao’s primary target and is especially effective in single target scenarios.
With Robin and Aventurine in the mix, fights can essentially go on auto-pilot, even without the auto-battle setting enabled, with Moze and Feixiao easily stacking multiple follow-up attacks before the enemy has time to act once.
An example rotation for this team goes as follows:
- Use Robin’s Skill to buff the rest of the team’s damage.
- Moze and Feixiao use their Skills on one enemy. Moze will mark that enemy as Prey and start gaining follow up stacks whenever that enemy is attacked.
- Use Moze’s Ultimate as it’s available for extra damage, stack buildup, and to charge Feixiao’s Ultimate stacks.
- Use Feixiao’s Ultimate as necessary for Weakness Break and big damage.
- Use Aventurine’s Basic Attack or Skill as necessary for Skill Points or to re-up shields.
- Use Robin’s Ultimate to advance the rest of the team’s actions forward for a whole new set of turns, plus tons of additional buffs.
If you don’t have Aventurine, both Lingsha and Gallagher can act as suitable replacements, with Lingsha being the optimal swap out given her own follow-up attack synergy.
Moze’s Ultimate is a “use when available” ability as opposed to Feixiao’s, which is more “use at the opportune time.” Moze gets more follow-up attack ability after using his Ult, whereas most of Feixiao’s damage comes from hers, and it ignores Toughness.
As with any main/sub-DPS setup, both Moze and Feixiao will need as much Crit Damage and Crit Rate as you can give them, and if you really want to be efficient, you can make their Speed stats just below Robin’s so she can start the fight with a buff.

Alternate Moze Follow-Up Attack Team
Character |
Role |
---|---|
Moze |
Sub-DPS |
Dr. Ratio |
Main DPS |
Tingyun |
Support |
Aventurine |
Sustain |
Playing Moze with Dr. Ratio takes a different style of play than with Feixiao, as the good doctor’s follow-up attacks are more dependent on debuffs and using his Ultimate to give himself additional follow-ups.
You could call this composition a dual-DPS setup, as Moze’s kit complements Dr. Ratio’s with debuff application, and Dr. Ratio ensures Moze has access to plenty of stacks to charge his follow-up attacks.
A possible rotation for this team is as follows:
- Use Tingyun’s Skill to buff Dr. Ratio, and her Ultimate if available to give him 50 additional energy and even more buffs.
- Use Moze’s Skill to activate the Prey state on an enemy.
- Use Dr. Ratio’s Skill to apply an additional debuff to a target.
- Use Dr. Ratio’s Ultimate to give him two follow-up charges.
- Rotate using Dr. Ratio and Moze’s Skills for tons of FUA damage.
- Aventurine and Tingyun should Basic Attack as much as possible, saving their Skills to reapply buffs and shields as necessary.
Tingyun’s primary purpose in this setup is to enable Dr. Ratio to use as many Ultimates as he can, because his Ultimate empowers his follow-up attack ability. Her Skill buff is a solid damage buff that can last much longer than usual, as one of its three stacks decays at the end of a turn, and follow-up attack chains occur outside the standard turn rotation.
Aventurine does his standard sustain job, plus his Ultimate can increase Crit damage taken by enemies.
Free-To-Play Moze Team
Character |
Role |
---|---|
Moze |
Main DPS |
Imaginary March 7 |
Sub-DPS |
Tingyun |
Support |
Gallagher |
Sustain |
Moze isn’t just a good supplementary DPS. He can act as your main damage dealer if you lack the likes of Feixiao or Dr. Ratio, among other five-star follow-up attack specialists.
Your damage rotation with this team is a bit different, as you’re relying on Moze more as a hypercarry, and the rest of the team exists to enable and enhance his abilities.
A cycle with this setup can be as follows:
- Use Tingyun’s Skill (and Ultimate, if available) on Moze for massive buffs and Ultimate Energy.
- Use Imaginary March 7th’s Skill (and Ultimate, if available) on Moze for additional buffs and to start her enhanced Basic stack buildup.
- Use Moze’s Skill and Ultimate to get his follow-up attack stacks rolling.
- Use Gallagher’s Basic Attack or heal as necessary, and use his Ultimate as an emergency button or to do AoE Fire damage.
Tingyun can be traded for Robin if you have her, or even Bronya, but any other top-tier support can do a good job.
The goal in any hypercarry team is to make your main DPS as powerful as possible, and both Tingyun and Imaginary March 7th are here to do that for Moze.
Gallagher can be an awkward sustain, especially outside of Break teams, but he is by far the best four-star healer, and outclasses some older five-stars, as well.
