There’s no shortage of great apparel in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The armour sets and helmets are well designed, and it’s always fun to see what you’ve picked up, just for the design, rather than the stats. That, mixed with the transmog feature, ensures you’re always looking your best while flaunting your best build as well.

However, while the on-field armours are great, Veilguard’s casual outfits for when your party is in camp aren’t that great. Rook and most of your companions wear the most generic casual outfits, like something you’d see on a random NPC. They look passable, but considering the number of romances going on in the Lighthouse, players want something a bit daring.
Let Me Slip Into Something More Comfortable
The void isn’t exactly the most romantic place. So, if you want to set the mood with one of your companions, you’ll have to use your charm. However, players also want Rook, and their companions, to perhaps dress up a bit for the occasion. Let’s face it, Baldur’s Gate 3’s in-depth apparel system has spoiled us.
Larian’s RPG features a number of racy outfits and underwear sets which add to the game’s great romance mechanics. Dragon Age: The Veilguard players want to see some such outfits make their way into BioWare’s title as well.
“I think this goes without saying. I’d kill to have some casual outfits that are like some of BG3’s more… elaborate camp outfits, like the Deva Cloth,” says a post on Reddit. “Give me something that shows some skin. Doesn’t even have to be dirty sexy, just something that has male Rooks going round without a shirt and Dragon Age’s equivalent of scruffy joggers, with a variant that has a tank top.”

A comment on the post noted that while they don’t have to be overtly revealing, the casual outfits could at least let them show off the tattoos they worked on during the character creator section.
“Honestly this was one of my main reasons for choosing Lords of Fortune for my male elf rogue Rook. He just looked good in that casual outfit,” said another comment showing how important the camp sections of the game are as well to players.
Unfortunately, even if BioWare does add these risqué casual outfits to the game, it’s not really going to improve the romances, which fans have been finding very bland. However, there is one companion whose rizz is much better than that of the rest.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the long-awaited fourth game in the fantasy RPG series from BioWare formerly known as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. A direct sequel to Inquisition, it focuses on red lyrium and Solas, the aforementioned Dread Wolf.
