Gojo, despite being strong, was never going to live forever and fans knew that if he were to fight against Sukuna, the possibility of him dying was very real. Sukuna ended up killing Gojo in the end, despite the battle being neck and neck, and, at the end of it all, the light from Gojo’s eyes was a scene fading. Gojo’s death meant that a new user of the Six Eyes was set to be born in the world at some point. And, that certainly makes for an exciting prospect for the future of JJK.

This is because Yita used Kenjaku’s technique to gain control of Gojo’s body and fought against Sukuna. This was a short stint for Yuta, but he finally got to see what the Six Eyes were all about, how they helped Gojo in battle, and how difficult controlling them truly was. At the same time, he also got access to the Limitless cursed technique for a short period of time, and it certainly made for an exciting battle. That said, Yuta was never going to be the permanent User of the Limitless or the Six Eyes, which essentially means that a new individual with these powers must be born at some point in the future.

As of now, there will not be any users of the Six Eyes and the Limitless technique at the same time. Given that Gojo was the first in 400 years to inherit both at the same time, a safe bet would be that the next individual to wield both at the same time will not appear until a century or more. But, the Six Eyes certainly do have to remain active and will be inherited by someone else. Naturally, given that this is a trait of the Gojo clan, any individual who is born in the Gojo clan next will likely inherit this ability.

As to who this person is going to be, fans do not know at this point in time. It is unfortunate that the author did not expand upon the Gojo Clan at all, because if he had, then fans would have a clearer idea of where the Six Eyes would show themselves again in the future. Perhaps the author will focus on the Gojo Clan later down the line in some spin-off or a one-shot, which would then explain who holds the Six Eyes.

At the very least, fans know that these eyes will reappear somewhere, and that it will belong to a member of the Gojo family.
