The Best Tips For Surviving Terminus In Black Ops 6.

With the Zombies Mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you get to experience some of the most intense and sweat-inducing experiences the series has offered in recent years. You can choose between two missions —Liberty Falls and Terminus— each with different map layouts, objectives, and mobs. Of the two, Terminus is generally considered more challenging because of how narrow and intricate the map is.

Are we surprised?

You do get to play with a lot more tools, like riding a boat, finding Easter eggs, and moving the elevators, but getting cornered is commonplace, and dying unpredictably is even more so. Thus, on top of learning the layout, you must uncover secrets and Easter eggs that can give you a strong headstart.

Use Salvage For Dead Wire And Rarity Upgrades

Once you collect enough Salvage from dead zombies, head over to the Arsenal Machine as fast as possible and equip the Dead Wire Ammo Mod. Not only is this needed for an objective, but it’s also ideal for tearing through enemy hordes, given Terminus’ map design.

After doing so, you should reserve your Salvage exclusively for Weapon Upgrades. After all, a high weapon rarity is crucial for later rounds because of its immense damage scaling. Instead of using Salvage on other Ammo Mods, you can dump your resources to upgrade a single, reliable weapon.

The Dead Wire Ammo Mod is also a notable weakness of the Amalgam, the most powerful Elite Zombies on Terminus.

Choose The Right Perks

Perk-a-Colas are a huge bonus in Black Ops 6 Zombies, adding unique buffs that last several rounds. Unlike Liberty Falls, you can equip every Perk-a-Cola on Terminus before Round 25. And, given how challenging the missions get after Round 15, you should absolutely get all of them.

Here is how you can activate the song Easter Egg on Terminus in Black Ops 6.

For early rounds, you should prioritize Speed Cola, Elemental Pop, Deadshot Daiquiri, and Jugger-Nog. With these in hand, you can then get the Stamin-Up, Melee Macchiato, PhD Flopper, and Quick Revive colas in that order. This order incorporates key techniques for reserving ammo and HP early on, ensuring you see the later rounds with enough resources.

Keep The Last Zombie Alive

Like in any Zombies mode, you can intentionally keep the last zombie alive to prevent a new wave from starting. This tactic is especially helpful on Terminus, where you have to repeatedly traverse the whole map for the objectives.

With only one zombie chasing you, you’ll have enough time to complete objectives, collect loot from dead zombies, and resupply your ammo and other resources. The strategy isn’t as useful in earlier rounds, but as you progress and notice your breathing room exponentially lowering, having this artificial break for rest and prep can be extremely useful.

This tactic does not apply to Elite Zombies, as keeping them alive will not prevent a new round!

5

Always Pay Dr. Peck For The Puzzle

One of the most annoying parts of Terminus’ main quest is the Math Puzzle at the Research Office. Although the enemies don’t attack you while solving it, there’s a timeout after a certain period. Once you reach that timeout, you won’t get to retry until the next round.

Fortunately, you can skip solving the equation entirely by paying 5,000 Essence to Dr. Peck at the Guard Station to get the code. The price is indeed hefty, but it’s definitely better than the penalty of failing the puzzle, especially when the puzzle itself is exceptionally challenging unless you’re a human calculator.

The Guard Station is located near your spawn. It’s also worth noting that you can also deposit portions of the payment to Dr. Peck incrementally until you reach the intended total of 5,000.

Upgrade Your Armor Vests Expeditiously

The sheer value of reinforced defense cannot be understated in any Zombies Mode. Even with immense firepower, you cannot outlast higher rounds if you’re a glass cannon. You start the Terminus mission with a single-plate armor vest and can upgrade it to a double-plate and triple-plate vest for 4,000 and 14,000 Essence, respectively.

The general rule of thumb is to upgrade your armor vests as soon as you get Deadshot Daiquiri and Elemental Pop. These two Perk-a-Colas actively help save ammo, so you won’t have to spend Essence refilling it. With a Level Three armor vest, you can survive a zombie ambush that would otherwise kill you in seconds.

The Level Two armor vests are found at Sea Tower and Seaside Path, while the Level Three vest is located at the Bio Lab and Crab Island.

3

Utilize The Mystery Box On Later Rounds

Although based on RNG, the Mystery Box is a great way to get powerful weapons for a fraction of the original price. As you progress through the rounds, the odds of getting a higher-rarity weapon increase dramatically. As such, once you reach Round 14, when you’ve likely unlocked a Level Three armor vest, start using your excess Essence on the Mystery Box.

Gobblegums are back and better than ever. Here’s how they work in Black Ops 6.

In most cases, you can get the Beamsmasher or, at minimum, a Legendary weapon within ten tries. Upon having either, add the Pack-a-Punch upgrade onto it and breeze through the next couple of rounds.

2

Fight Nathan With The Right Equipment

The latter part of Terminus’ quest involves fighting Nathan, the second-last boss of the mission. This guy is a monster —he hits like a truck and can regenerate HP far quicker than the Amalgam and even you. It’s absolutely crucial that you focus all your ammunition and explosives on him to make sure he doesn’t nullify your efforts.

Before going into the fight, you should have the Ray Gun with at least one Pack-a-Punch upgrade alongside a Mutant Injection or Chopper Gunner. The Ray Gun’s unbelievable DPS can completely melt Nathan’s HP, and the Chopper Gunner is ideal for clearing the entire map.

If you’re in a party, it’s better to have another player using the Beamsmasher weapon to tackle the surrounding zombie horde while you take care of Nathan.

1

Use The Bio Lab Efficiently

The Bio Lab, located at the bottom of the map, is arguably the best spot for taking down zombies — it has the Arsenal Machine, a Level Three armor vest, an elevator for vertical mobility, and a pool for quick escapes. Its standout advantage, however, is its disc-like layout, which is perfect for rounding up hordes.

To rack up easy headshots, you should align zombies in a straight line and unload your magazine, minimizing gun movement for maximum accuracy. Within the Bio Lab, you can use the circular pathway and narrow ramp to corral zombies into a single file, creating a controlled and reliable killing zone.
