How To Unlock Yuweyawata Field Station
This Dungeon can be unlocked through the quest ‘In Search of the Past’, which is started from G’raha Tia in Solution Nine (X:6.2, Y:15.2) during the 7.1 Main Scenario Quests. To get to this point, you’ll need to finish the Main Scenario Quest ‘Dawntrail’, then two 7.1 patch quests, ‘A Royal Invitation’ and ‘Alexandria Mourns’.
You will need to be iLvl 690 to enter the Yuweyawata Field Station.
Lindblum Zaghnal
The first boss of the Yuweyawata Field Station is the Lindblum Zaghnal. Here are its attacks and mechanics.
Attack Name |
Type |
Details |
---|---|---|
Electrical Overload |
Roomwide AoE |
Deals damage to all party members. |
Gore |
Special/AoE |
The boss will jump to one of the large crystal formations around the arena before channeling electricity into it. The boss will then use Caber Toss. |
Caber Toss |
Line AoE |
Three sets of line AoEs will shoot electricity from the crystal that the boss is channeling into. Dodge each set as it appears. Immediately after, the boss will launch the crystal, dropping it onto the arena, where it will deal damage in a large AoE. This crystal will then repeat Caber Toss, firing line AoEs in all directions. |
Lightning Storm |
AoE Marker |
Marks all players with an AoE Marker during the second set of Caber Toss line AoEs. Spread out from each other while avoiding the line AoEs. |
Gore/Sparking Fissure |
Special/AoE |
The boss will use Gore again, this time without a crystal formation. Instead, it will repeatedly deal damage to all party members while creating Raw Eletrope around the arena, which will begin to charge up. Destroy each Raw Electrope as it appears, prioritizing the ones with further progress bars.
|
The Lindblum Zaghnal will repeat these attacks until it is defeated. The AoE created by the Caber Toss-ed crystal formation is unexpectedly big, so give yourself ample room to avoid it. Additionally, don’t forget to focus down the Raw Electrope as they appear, or else you risk a wipe to Sparking Fissure.
Overseer Kanilokka
The second boss of the Yuweyawata Field Station is Overseer Kanilokka. Here are his attacks and mechanics.
Attack Name |
Type |
Details |
---|---|---|
Dark Souls |
Tankbuster |
Deals high damage to the boss’s main target. Use damage mitigation as necessary. |
Free Spirits |
Roomwide AoE |
Deals damage to all party members, covers the edge of the arena in a dangerous AoE, then repeatedly fires semi-circular AoEs around the arena. Do your best to avoid these AoEs without stepping into the edge of the arena, which will inflict Damage Down, Heavy, and Bleeding, making it more difficult to avoid subsequent attacks. |
Phantom Flood |
Ring AoE |
Deals damage in a large ring AoE, with a small safe spot in the center of the arena. This will also increase the size of the dangerous puddle AoE that was previously only around the edge of the arena so that it covers most of the arena, except for the safe spot. |
Dark II/Telltale Tears |
Conal AoE/AoE Markers |
The boss will fire two sets of conal AoEs from the center of the arena, then target the three non-Tank players with AoE Markers. Spread out to avoid overlapping these. |
Lost Hope/Necrohazard |
Dizzy Marker/Proximity AoE |
The boss will clear away part of the red puddle AoE, leaving curved paths to the edge of the arena, then inflict all players with a Dizzy Marker. Then, he will begin casting Necrohazard, a proximity AoE in the center of the arena. To avoid this, time the turning of the Dizzy Marker to carefully maneuver down the cleared path to the edge of the arena. |
Bloodburst |
Roomwide AoE |
Deals damage to all party members. Recover with AoE healing. |
Soul Douse |
Stack Marker |
Targets a random player with a Stack Marker; group up with the to split the incoming damage. At the same time, the boss will be casting Dark II, so be sure to dodge the conal AoEs while stacking. |
Overseer Kanilokka will repeat these mechanics until he is defeated. Later in the fight, Free Spirits will be combined with Telltale Tears, so be sure to spread out while avoiding the semi-circle AoEs. Other than that, this fight is fairly straightforward, but if you aren’t used to the timing of the Dizzy Marker it may be difficult to avoid the full damage of Necrohazard.
Lunipyati
The final boss of the Dungeon is the Tural Vidraal Lunipyati. Here are all of its attacks and mechanics.
Attack Name |
Type |
Details |
---|---|---|
Raging Claw |
AoE |
The boss will turn before striking half of the arena with repeated claw attacks. Move behind the boss to avoid. |
Leporine Loaf |
Roomwide AoE |
Lunipyati will deal damage to all party members and cover the edge of the arena in a dangerous AoE puddle. Immediately after, it will use Boulder Dance. |
Boulder Dance |
Circle AoE |
This attack will start as three small circle AoEs that deal continuous damage, which will then expand in the indicated direction, dealing damage in a second circle AoE. Find a spot that won’t be hit and stay there until the attack finishes. |
Jagged Edge |
AoE Markers |
At the end of Boulder Dance, all party members will be targeted with AoE Markers. Spread out to avoid overlapping them. |
Earth Spiral |
Circle AoEs |
Attacks with multiple sets of semi-circle lines that will then create small circle AoEs along their paths. Find the largest gap between the lines to avoid the circle AoEs. This attack will end with a full circle in the center and near the edge of the arena; first, stand near the edge to avoid the first set, then move into the center to avoid the second. |
Crater Carve |
AoE |
The boss will destroy the center of the arena, instantly killing players inside the AoE. This portion of the arena will remain a deadly gap until the fight is over, limiting your moveable space. |
Beastly Roar |
Proximity AoE |
The boss will attack with a proximity AoE from its location. Move to the other end of the arena to reduce the damage of this attack, while also making sure not to fall into the hole. |
Circling Spikes |
Circle AoEs |
Immediately after Beastly Roar, a series of circle AoEs will start moving around the edge of the arena. Move back toward the boss to avoid these. |
Turali Stone IV |
Stack Marker |
Targets a random player with a Stack Marker; group up to split its damage. |
Sonic Howl |
Roomwide AoE |
Deals damage to all party members. |
Slabber |
Tankbuster |
Targets the Tank with a high-damage attack. |
Lunipyati will continue to use Beastly Roar, Circling Spikes, Turali Stone IV, Sonic Howl, and Slabber until the end of the fight. If you’re confident in your AoE-dodging abilities, this fight should be no problem, but still be careful of the hole created by Crater Carve, as falling in means instant death.
After defeating Lunipyati, collect your loot and exit the dungeon to continue the MSQ.
