Although the 2025 roadmap had been updated to account for a new zone in Patch 11.2, World of Warcraft made another clarification shortly after. First reported by Wowhead, player housing in World of Warcraft was included on the roadmap with a new icon featuring a home and the Warcraft series symbol. The icon was then placed on the Winter 2025 portion of the roadmap. Previously, a yellow-colored hearthstone icon was in the Winter 2025 slot, which caused some confusion among World of Warcraft fans. However, Blizzard cleared the air with the new player housing icon on the roadmap. Given that player housing was touted as a Midnight expansion feature, the new icon on the 2025 roadmap may also indicate when either Midnight will be released, or a pre-expansion patch that would include player housing.
