The Lawmaker mission from the Home Invasion DLC in Ready or Not is fairly straightforward, but it can be a challenge for players who aren’t comfortable with close-quarters fights. This mission is set in a large mansion overtaken by a group of radicals, so expect a lot of room-to-room engagements.
While Lawmaker isn’t as complex as some other Ready or Not missions, it’s still set in a large map with plenty of doors and angles to worry about. Clearing this level is going to be tricky, but with enough practice and preparation, players will be able to finish it in no time at all.

All Lawmaker Objectives in Ready or Not
Lawmaker is another indoor CQB map similar to the Dorms map in Ready or Not. Most encounters here will be in rooms and hallways, though there are a few long sightlines, such as the main entrance lobby and the backyard. In this mission, your objectives are:
- Bring Order to Chaos: Arrest or neutralize all suspects in the area.
- Rescue All Civilians: Restrain all unarmed civilians.
- Locate Active Panic Rooms: Make contact with the family hiding in one of the mansion’s panic rooms.
- Rescue Sven Anderson-Lincoln: Rescue the owner of the house.
Lawmaker Panic Room Locations
There are two panic rooms in the mansion, and the one you’re looking for is the one with the red, flashing light. If the panic room you find does not have this light active, you can safely ignore it.
- One panic room is on the second floor, next to the spiral staircase in the middle of the mansion.
- The other panic room is inside the dressing room next to the master bedroom on the third floor.
All you need to do is interact with the exterior keypad of the active panic room. Doing so will prompt a response from the family inside, crossing this objective off the list.
Where to Find Sven Anderson-Lincoln
Sven, the owner of the mansion, can be anywhere on the map. He is a middle-aged man wearing casual attire, and he will yell distinct voicelines that should be easy to distinguish from the other civilians. He spawns on the third floor more often than not, and he almost always has at least one suspect guarding him.
Lawmaker has no soft objectives. Focus on getting every suspect and civilian out alive if you want to

Tips and Recommended Loadouts
Suspects here are armored and armed with high-caliber weaponry, including AK rifles and Five Seven pistols. They’ll have an easy time penetrating your armor, so we recommend using Ceramic or Steel plates on a light rig to balance protection with mobility. A ballistic shield can also work if you’re with a coordinated group, but in general, it’s better to avoid getting hit here instead of taking shots. Additionally, bring and use some flashlights, as some rooms can be a bit dark.
To make matters worse, the suspects in Lawmaker have a tendency to use civilians as human shields. Use flashbangs or CS gas when you know there’s a suspect in the room, as there’s a decent chance that they’re holding someone hostage. If you’re using a pepperball launcher, shoot the floor under the suspects. This will cause them to start coughing without risking any unauthorized use of force penalties against possible human shields.
Here are some tips for the Lawmaker mission:
- The mansion is huge. We strongly recommend doing a thorough, systematic sweep of every room starting at the first floor.
- Use AP rifle rounds. Suspects are equipped with bulletproof vests that can give low-caliber HP ammo trouble.
- Start at the rear entrance. The main entrance can be hard to breach since there could be suspects on the second floor watching the door.
- On lethal playthroughs, aim for the head. This should help with unexpected human shield encounters. There are no arrest requirements for the mission.
