What Platforms Is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Available On?
As a first-party title from Microsoft, it’s no surprise that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available on their home platforms. The next major entry in this renowned flight simulation series will launch on Xbox Series X and its less powerful counterpart, the Series S. Like all first-party Microsoft games, it will also debut on PC from Day One.
- Additionally, the game will be included with both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, allowing players to try it without purchasing it outright.
Unfortunately for Xbox One owners, the decade-old platform will not receive a native port of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. However, the game remains accessible through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Any device supporting Xbox Cloud Gaming can stream the game, ensuring that older platforms and other devices still have a way to experience it.

Which PC Stores Are Selling Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024?
Like its predecessor, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available on just two PC platforms: Steam and the Microsoft Store. This should cover the needs of most players. However, fans of the Epic Games Store and GOG will be disappointed, as the game won’t be available on those storefronts. The absence from GOG, in particular, makes sense given the game’s reliance on online features.

Can You Play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PlayStation and Nintendo Consoles?
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will not be available on PlayStation or Nintendo platforms, primarily because it is a first-party title. However, this doesn’t entirely rule out the possibility. Microsoft has previously brought select first-party titles, such as Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush, to other platforms. Additionally, upcoming high-profile releases like DOOM: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are set to launch on PlayStation 5.
While there’s no confirmation at this time, this precedent leaves a slim chance that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 could make its way to competing platforms in the future. For now, though, it remains exclusive to Xbox and PC.
