Teleport Spell

Brighter Shores - Teleport Spell

The Teleport spell lets you fast travel between regions. It is the first spell you unlock after receiving permission to use magic from Anjay Sandorman. To use the Teleport spell, you must first activate a Portal Stone. The HopePort Portal Stone, located north of the Training Grounds, is the first fast travel point you can unlock.

As you progress, you’ll encounter other Portal Stones. While HopePort has only one Portal Stone, other regions may have multiple. Here is a list of Portal Stones in Brighter Shores:

  • HopePort Portal Stone – Located north of the Training Grounds
  • HopeForest Central Portal Stone – Located next to Ivy Path
  • HopeForest North Portal Stone – Located next to Road to Nowhere Much
  • Mine Southwest Portal Stone – Located west of Goblin Workshop
  • Mine Deep Portal Stone – Located far northeast of the Mine of Mantuban (requires progression in the Mantuban’s Legacy quest)
  • Crenopolis Outskirts Portal Stone – Located near Road to Crenopolis
  • Crenopolis Market Portal Stone – Located southeast of the Merchant’s Guild

Sense Spell

Brighter Shores - Sense Spell

The Sense spell detects nearby enemies and interactable items. When activated, it scans the surrounding area and highlights creatures and items. Sense is taught as part of the Welcome to the Guard tutorial quest.

To learn the Sense spell, speak to Sultar Malzak at the Training Grounds. Once learned, you can activate the Sense spell by pressing the Space button.

Immunity Spell

Brighter Shores - Immunity Spell

Brighter Shores has a variety of challenging enemies. For beginners, these enemies may often overpower them due to their lower level. By casting the Immunity spell, hostile enemies will ignore you as long as you stay still or for a few seconds if you start moving. The Immunity spell can also be cast during battles to aid in retreat. You’ll learn this spell toward the end of the Welcome to the Guard story quest after helping Captain Degreene.

Quartermaster Spell

While fighting enemies, you’ll often acquire equipment as drops. Players who specialize as Guards or Scouts may find their inventories cluttered with armor and weapons. Quartermaster is ideal for these professions, allowing you to access the Quartermaster Bank to deposit or withdraw equipment directly.

To learn the Quartermaster spell, speak to the Quartermaster in the store next to the Training Grounds.

Storage Rift Spell

Storage Rift is a convenient spell similar to Quartermaster. If running across the map to store resources is inconvenient, this spell lets you use circular stone slabs called Storage Rifts to send resources directly to storage. However, it only allows storage and does not retrieve items.

To unlock the Storage Rift spell, progress through the Spider’s Nest quest in HopeForest. Start this quest by meeting Toblaine at Cliffside Path, located far southeast of HopeForest. Toward the end of the quest, you will learn the Storage Rift spell from an NPC named Marcus Mint.

Detect Aura Spell

The Detect Aura spell becomes available after reaching level 46 in the Detective profession, which is accessible in the Crenopolis episode. Once you reach level 46, speak to Gallabast the Ragged at Ratmore Rise to learn the spell. Activating Detect Aura reveals auras around NPCs, items, and locations, assisting in investigations.
