One of the first things that players will realize after starting their Brighter Shores journey is that money is super important in the game. You will need it to buy different types of materials and level up in the game. But, like a lot of life sims, making money isn’t exactly easy.
A great way to make some extra cash, though, is by selling items you find along the way. The massive world of Brighter Shores is teeming with all sorts of items that you can pick up and sell for a nice profit. Thankfully, selling things is pretty simple in Brighter Shores, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to do it.

Knowledge Points make leveling up your professions easier in Brighter Shores. Here’s a simple guide to help you understand how they work.
How to Sell Materials in Brighter Shores
Selling items isn’t just a way to make some money in Brighter Shores. It also helps players keep their inventory organized. You start the game with limited storage, and before you know it, your inventory will be full, so you’ll often need to sell items to make space.
Fans will have to sell different items to different NPCs in Brighter Shores. For example, weapons and armor can be sold to the Quartermaster in Stone Street. When you find them, just choose the ‘Sell Items’ option. This will open a menu where you can sell everything at once or pick items one by one. If you have more than one of an item, make sure to select how many you want to sell.
Having said that, players should be careful when selling items. Luckily, the game has the Buy Back option, so if players sell something by mistake, they can always buy it back. However, we’re not sure how long this feature stays available after you sell something, so try to grab it back as soon as you can if you need it.
To buy something back, Brighter Shores players will need to go back to the vendor they sold it to. Talk to them, and you’ll see a menu with four options. Click on ‘Sell Items,’ then choose ‘Buy Back’ to get your item back.
As we said earlier, you need to sell different items to different vendors in the game. For example, weapons and armor go to the Quartermaster, potions go to the Apothecary, and cooked meals can be sold at The Delectable Dab Kitchen. Players can find all these vendors in Hopeport pretty early in their journey.
