Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is an upcoming FPS survival horror game. It’s one of the most highly anticipated games left on the 2024 slate. It was originally announced for a September release but has been pushed back to this month. It is a game that is available on PC, which means it has certain system requirements.

Not all PCs are the same since some gamers build and customize their own. Since that’s the case, it’s important to know what specs are needed to even run the game. Not every PC will be able to handle such a powerful and big game, so here’s everything you need to know.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl System Requirements: Minimum and Recommended

Here are the minimum system requirements for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl:

  • The OS must be either Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Your processor must be AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-7600K
  • You will need at least 8 GB of RAM
  • The graphics card should be AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
  • The game is large, so you need over 150 GB of available space
  • Additional Notes: You will need an SSD

Remember, these are just the bare minimum requirements. Your PC will be able to run Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl with the above, but it won’t exactly be fantastic. To ensure the best performance, these recommendations will work wonders:

If you have the above or even some of the above, your PC will run the game a little better. Every improvement counts, so the better your device, the smoother Stalker 2 will run. Aside from the PC, this game is available on Xbox Series S|X. There are no system requirements for that since all consoles are the same. The game has been made for those two Xbox consoles, so it will not differ from person to person like a PC might. Stalker 2 is not on PlayStation or Nintendo Switch. It’s also not coming out for Xbox One since that’s such an old platform now.
