GTA Trilogy Developer Unfollows Rockstar Games

Although the studio remains in the credits for the GTA Trilogy remasters, the most recent update has removed Grove Street Games’ logo from the game’s splash screen, which fans believe to be the reason for the sudden unfollowing of Rockstar Games.
In response to the studio’s removal from the trilogy’s splash screen, Grove Street Games boss Thomas Williamson expressed his frustration’s on Twitter, claiming that hundreds of fixes in the game’s latest update were actually developed by the studio but “stayed out of players’ hands for years.” Although Williamson states that many of the fixes included in the latest update for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition were done by Grove Street Games, Rockstar appears to have brought on board Video Games Deluxe to improve the trilogy, as the studio is now credited in-game.
While it seems to be up in the air but which studio developed which fixes, the latest patch is it undoubtedly its biggest to date. The surprise update not only includes a classic lighting mode, but makes a plethora of fixes and improvements to allow for a much smoother gameplay experience. In fact, the update appears to be so big that there are even changes not mentioned in the latest GTA Trilogy patch notes.
