- LEGO released a set inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn’s Tallneck in 2022.
A brand-new LEGO set based on the Horizon series may have just leaked, not long after the launch of LEGO Horizon Adventures. Earlier this week, the worlds of gaming and LEGO collided once again in a comical retelling of 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn that re-imaged Aloy and the massive, beast-like machines she often battles in plastic form. So far, reactions to LEGO Horizon Adventures have been mixed, with some critics praising its impressive graphics and whimsical tone, while others find its simplified gameplay repetitive.
LEGO Horizon Adventures isn’t the first time that Aloy has been turned into a minifigure, as LEGO released a building set based on Horizon Zero Dawn’s towering Tallneck back in 2022. This set would inspire fans to create their own custom LEGO models of other Horizon machines like the raptor-like Clawstrider, and it wasn’t long before LEGO pitched the idea of a full-on LEGO Horizon game to Sony and developer Guerrilla Games.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is Shooting Itself in the Foot Without One PS5 Feature
LEGO Horizon Adventures brings a new version of the series to life, but one expected feature is surprisingly absent from the game.
The Horizon and LEGO crossover fun might not be over yet, as Instagram user Brickreporter recently posted images of what looks like a new LEGO Horizon Zero Dawn set. According to both these pictures and additional information shared on Resetera, this set will feature buildable versions of Aloy, her Nora ally Varl, and the Shell-Walker and Sawtooth machines. It will reportedly contain 768 pieces and be released in March 2025 for a suggested retail price of $44.99. So far, the pictures only show Aloy and glimpses of the machines, with the former appearing to have a different face than the one included in the Tallneck LEGO set.
Leaked LEGO Horizon Set Includes Shell-Walker and Sawtooth
While this leak is in no way an official confirmation that a new LEGO Horizon set is on the way, fans who enjoyed building the previously-released Tallneck LEGO model have expressed excitement at adding the Shell-Walker and Sawtooth to their collections. Others are hoping that this will lead to the release of other popular Horizon machines like the Thunderjaw. After all, Horizon arguably lends itself well to LEGO thanks to the many diverse and complex enemies, tribal settlements, and other memorable structures and locations populating the series’ post-apocalyptic world.
This was likely part of the reason that LEGO Horizon Adventures happened, and if the game proves successful enough, there could be adaptations of Horizon Forbidden West and future Horizon sequels as well. In the meantime, Horizon fans might have another physical LEGO set to look forward to early next year, assuming that this latest leak is indeed authentic.
