After several months of smaller updates and bug fixes, V Rising is finally gearing up for its next major content update, the 1.1 update. Currently, a lot of details about this future update for V Rising are still unknown, including an exact release date. After V Rising’s Secrets of Gloomrot update turned out to be a game-changer, this upcoming 1.1 update arguably has some high expectations to live up to. However, based on what’s been revealed so far, this free content update is arguably well on track to pave a strong path for V Rising’s future.

V Rising Teases New Features Coming in the 1.1 Update
V Rising’s next post-launch content update has been officially announced, and while the update is still seemingly in its early stages of development, a few of the major features planned for this update have already been revealed. The update is expected to be released in 2025, although there’s no exact release date yet.
- Duels and Arena PvP
- Fusion Forge
- New appearances for existing endgame weapons
Duels and Arena PvP
There are two new forms of PvP said to come in the 1.1 update that players can participate in without having to worry about some of the normal risks of open-world PvP encounters. This namely includes weapon and armor durability in V Rising being turned off. Players will also be revived after duels instead of needing to manually respawn, which means players won’t lose their blood type.
Duels will be available from any location outside of named POIs. Meanwhile, players must build dedicated rooms in their castle to engage in arena matches. Overall, these new forms of PvP in V Rising will provide a more controlled environment, while also making PvP more accessible for players who normally play on PvE servers.
There likely won’t be any protections in place to prevent NPCs or other players from interfering with duels, so players should be careful about where they choose to duel.
Fusion Forge
The Fusion Forge will be a late-game crafting station that will allow players to take stat bonuses from armor, weapons, and jewels and combine them to make endgame gear in V Rising with the perfect stat rolls. With this new system, players will generally get a lot more value out of weapons and armor drops that don’t quite fit their desired build.
V Rising’s 1.1 Update Will Add Another New Region
Beyond the new crafting system and PvP game modes, the 1.1 update will also introduce another new map expansion. This new region will be located to the north of Silverlight, and it’s expected to be the new hardest region in the game, so players should consider mastering V Rising’s Gloomrot region to be well-prepared before entering this new region.
This map expansion is said to include a new variety of uniquely themed enemies, notably including a new variety of V Blood boss enemies for players to slay and unlock powerful new vampire powers. Additionally, players will be able to build castles throughout this new region.

Allegedly, there’s a lot more still planned for V Rising’s upcoming 1.1 update and beyond, but it’s presumably too early to reveal anything further for the time being. Even so, everything that’s already been announced for V Rising’s 1.1 update is shaping up to be a huge addition to the game, regardless of what else this update will include.
