Despite the recent controversies with the popular streamer, new data suggests that fans are still donating thousands of dollars to Dr Disrespect.

Now, Dr Disrespect has revealed that he’s fine after the ACL surgery and told fans that he’ll be back to streaming on Monday after spending the weekend resting. According to Dr Disrespect, he had trouble entering his Lamborghini after the surgery. However, he is otherwise in good condition to keep working as a streamer.

Dr Disrespect Will Return to Streaming Next Week

This is not the first time in 2024 that Dr Disrespect has stopped streaming. Earlier this year, he also took a short “vacation” soon after a controversy that started when former Twitch employee Cody Conners claimed the reason for Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban was sending inappropriate messages to a minor using the platform. The accusation and subsequent backlash caused Dr Disrespect to end his partnership with sponsors such as Turtle Beach, Midnight Society, and the F2P shooter Rogue Company.

Soon after these accusations were made, Dr Disrespect was also demonetized on YouTube. Back in October, YouTube declined to monetize Dr Disrespect’s channel once more, and the content creator is currently waiting for the platform to give him another chance to try to come back to the YouTube Partner Program. However, this has not prevented him from using the platform.

Not everything is bad news for Dr Disrespect in 2024, though. Last month, Dr Disrespect appeared as one of the top YouTube streamers. According to Streams Charts, the creator was the second most watched US-based YouTube gaming streamer, having a total of 2.2 million watch hours. He only lost to IShowSpeed, who had 3.08 million watch hours. During the month, he streamed 106 hours of content, mostly playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. During that time, he also received thousands of dollars in donations from his followers, as shown by his Streamlabs tip page.
