Street Fighter 6 has been around for a while now, but it’s still growing from launch. From extra DLC characters to special events, there are loads of ways Capcom can expand this title out. This has even included new collabs. The next of these has just been unveiled, Destiny 2 X Street Fighter 6.
This new collab has been revealed in an update from Destiny 2. Ahead it officially coming in some Destiny or SF 6 patch notes, they’ve revealed some key details about what’s coming to the game. There’s going to be quite a few new cosmetic items that celebrate Street Fighter within Destiny 2. It isn’t a crossover fighter like some other games do. Although, the items have the potential to be used really creatively in Destiny.
What exactly is coming with the Destiny 2 and Street Fighter 6 collaborating? This is what’s been announced so far and what we’re expecting:
Destiny 2 X Street Fighter 6
In a recent stream, new Destiny 2 content was revealed from the Street Fighter series. This includes a new helmet made to resemble Blanka. Also includes finishers that let you recreate Street Fighter moves. There’s the Hadouken, probably the most iconic SF move. Then there’s Lightning Kick and Spinning Bird kick. These moves should help you show off some of your favorite SF moves.
On top of these, we’ve got two different emotes which bring a bit of Street Fighter into the game. One has you mess up a car and the other allows two players to pose in a Street Fighter match style.
All of these items will be fun for Destiny 2 players. However, there isn’t anything coming to Street Fighter 6 just yet. Since this was revealed during a Destiny reveal, we might see more in the future. It’s possible we end up with Destiny items to use in Street Fighter too. The game has already collaborated with Fortnite, so it wouldn’t be unheard of. Fans of both titles will have to keep an eye out for further developments in the Destiny 2 X Street Fighter 6 collab.
