Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 kicks off its first season with a new assault rifle and SMG to earn. The Saug is the first primary weapon that can be used akimbo in BO6, giving you two fast-firing SMGs that will melt through enemies in seconds. Controlling this weapon can be tricky, but with the right build, the Saug can hold its own in Multiplayer and excel in Zombies.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 – How To Unlock Krig C And Saug
Two new weapons arrived at the start of Season One. You’ll want to unlock the Krig-C and Saug in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 as soon as you can.
In this guide, we’ll be going over two builds for the Saug that lean into the weapon’s strengths. The first build is an akimbo configuration that’s ideal for Zombies or aggressive PvP use. If you prefer to take things a little slower, the accuracy build will perform well in most situations.

Rapid Fire (Fire Mod) |

This build works great in Zombies.
Let’s be honest, akimbo is the reason you’re using the Saug in the first place. Akimbo Saug gives you two one-handed SMGs that pack a serious punch up close. You aren’t going to be using this weapon past a few meters, so you might as well go all-in on fire rate and handling. For that, we recommend the Extended Mag II for a much larger magazine and Rapid Fire to push the gun’s fire rate past 1,000 RPM.
Firing two fast-firing SMGs can be tricky to handle, which is why you’ll want a Compensator in your muzzle slot. This greatly cuts down on the weapon’s vertical recoil. Throw on a Steady Aim Laser for better hipfire accuracy, and you should be able to handle most close-range fights no problem. For your remaining attachments, we recommend a Long Barrel for less damage falloff and the CQB Grip for drastically reduced sprint to fire speed.

Specialty | Enforcer |
Column One | Dexterity |
Column Two | Assassin |
Column Three | Double Time |

Wildcard | Gunfighter |
Lethal | Preference |
Tactical | Stim |
Field Upgrade | War Cry |
An aggressive build like this should use the Enforcer specialty. Kills will increase your movement speed and trigger HP regeneration, perfect for a run-and-gun playsytle. For perks, we recommend Dexterity for minimal weapon motion, Assassin for the extra points, and Double Time for longer tactical sprint duration. Equipment should reinforce this playstyle. Use Stims and the War Cry Field Upgrade to give youself some healing sources when you can’t land kills.

Accuracy Saug Build

Vertical Foregrip (Underbarrel) |

Quickdraw Grip (Rear Grip) |

Recoil Springs (Fire Mod) |
If you don’t want to use akimbo on this weapon, you can turn it into a solid mid-range SMG with some recoil attachments. Recoil Springs help reduce global recoil by 10%, while the Compensator and Vertical Foregrip will reduce your vertical and horizontal recoil values by 30%. These three attachments make this weapon trivial to control from a distance.
Your last two attachments should help with the Saug’s effectiveness at range. The Long Barrel extends its optimal TTK by a few meters, and the Quickdraw Grip greatly helps with this weapon’s ADS speed. It’s not the strongest gun for mid-range duels, but it can get the job done better than most SMGs.

We recommend the same loadout for this build. SMGs work best with aggressive playstyles, so the Enforcer specialty makes sense here. Spec for healing items for your equipment, and you should perform well in most 6v6 game modes.
