How do you unlock the Sirin 9mm in Black Ops 6 and Warzone? The Overkill Wildcard can sometimes feel like a big limitation if you’re running a DMR or sniper, sacrificing three extra Gunfighter attachments for your big shooty stick in return for a short-range sidearm that doesn’t suck. Well, the CoD gods have heard your grumbling and may have prepared the perfect solution.
During Season 1, Black Ops 6 is set to introduce Sirin 9mm – a fully automatic special-class sidearm that functions like a mini SMG. While it may be slower than the best C9 or KSV loadouts the FPS game has to offer, we’re hopeful that it’ll be able to hold its own against established beamers in a pinch. To find out how to unlock the Sirin 9mm in BO6, as well as what we reckon the best loadout for it will be, read on.
How to unlock the Sirin 9mm in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Sirin 9mm is a Season 1 event weapon. To unlock the Sirin 9mm, you’ll need to complete contracts in the Hit List event until it becomes claimable from the reward pool.
The devs have yet to reveal how Hit List’s reward structure will work, but for now, you can read up on what it entails in our Black Ops 6 events guide. It shouldn’t be long before we learn more, so check back often over the coming weeks.
Best BO6 Sirin 9mm loadout
Although the Sirin 9mm has yet to arrive in Black Ops 6, we can comfortably theorycraft a build that will mitigate its core weaknesses – low fire rate and moderate recoil. Though the devs have confirmed the Sirin can be outfitted with an extended mag that bumps its 32-round mag up to a 40-round one, time-to-kill remains the key to excelling in Call of Duty, so we’re looking elsewhere.
Presuming it has a similar attachment pool to the fully automatic Grekhova, we’re kicking off the build with the tried and tested front-end combo of the Ported Compensator and the Long Barrel. The compensator massively improves first shot and vertical recoil control, while the Long Barrel is required since pretty much every loadout under the sun is currently using it – an equalizer if you will.
As you won’t be able to quickly spray and pray your enemies away with the Sirin 9mm, aiming down sights is king. As such, the Quickdraw Grip is our go-to for locking in rapidly. To further mitigate the Sirin’s recoil, slap on the Weighted Stock. You’re definitely going to need it seeing as we’re going to be adding the Rapid Fire mod, which reduces recoil control, in return for some much-needed fire rate.
And that’s how to unlock the Sirin 9mm in Black Ops 6, as well as our take on the best loadout the special-class sidearm could have at its disposal.
