Here’s everything you need to know about Dex Missions in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
However, there are still a lot of questions regarding in-game monetization, the systems in place to expand your card collection, and the future of the game itself. Here’s all you need to know about Pokemon TCG Pocket!
Is This Game Free?
Pokemon TCG Pocket is completely free! You can open up to two booster packs daily and get individual cards by using the Wonder Pick, and you will get tools and resources to speed that process up whenever you level up or by purchasing items in the Shop.
Keep in mind, though, that you can also buy Poke Gold with real money, which you can use to speed up the Booster recharge if you run out of Pack Hourglasses. Spend money at your discretion!
Should I Get The Premium Pass?
The Premium Pass is not mandatory to play the game, and the only mission rewards so far are merely aesthetic additions, it’s not necessary to pay for this pass. However, you will get an extra booster per day to open, which can also help you fill your collection more quickly, especially in the early stages of the game.
How Do I Get More Booster Packs?
To get more Booster packs other than the daily ones, you can either pay real-life money for Poke Gold to speed the recharge up, buy some Pack Hourglasses in the game Shop, or finish all the available in-game missions to obtain enough Hourglasses for extra pulls.
Can I Trade Cards?
The functionality to trade cards is not enabled at the moment, but the company already announced that the early stages of in-game Trading will be available starting January 2025.
How Do I Build A Deck?
To build a powerful deck, you will need 20 cards, and choose between Pokemon, Item, and Supporter cards to fill it. You will have a starter deck to get familiarized with the game, and as you collect more cards, you will be able to build more decks with different strategies!
