Key Takeaways

A YouTuber has uncovered a serious bug with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s suppressors, revealing that players using the attachment are not being hidden from enemy radars if an opponent is using the Scout Pulse scorestreak. While suppressors aren’t the most popular attachment to use in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the Scout Pulse is the lowest and most commonly used scorestreak in the game, meaning those who are using a suppressor are likely wasting their time.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been a huge success for publisher Activision and developer Treyarch, but it hasn’t been without its fair share of bugs and glitches. While overpowered weapons and items are often expected in live service titles such as Call of Duty, Black Ops 6 has come with plenty of other issues that players are eager to see fixed. Although Treyarch has deployed multiple updates since the title’s release on October 25, existing problems such as the inability to hear opponents via voice chat in Search and Destroy, incorrect progression levels being displayed in lobbies, and more continue to plague the shooter. Now, it looks like there’s an even more serious issue, as one player discovers a severe bug with the game’s suppressors.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Suppressors Are Bugged

YouTuber XclusiveAce, a well-known Call of Duty content creator who regularly deep dives into the best weapons, attachments, and hidden stats, has uncovered an issue with the suppressors in Treyarch’s new shooter. While testing Ghost, one of Black Ops 6‘s most popular perks, in his latest video, Ace discovered that using a suppressor will not hide the player from the enemy mini-map if the opponent is using the Scout Pulse scorestreak. Even with both Ghost and a suppressor equipped, Ace’s testing shows that the player still pings on the enemy’s mini-map when firing a weapon.

Given that the Scout Pulse is the lowest scorestreak in the game, costing just 400 points to earn, this issue is unlikely to be intentional and is probably another bug tormenting Black Ops 6‘s massive launch. The only instance that a scorestreak should override perks and attachments is when an enemy Harp is in the air, as this powerful scorestreak costs 1,450 points and can reveal all enemy positions and directions on the mini-map.

Thankfully, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone is set to launch at 9AM PT and will bring a plethora of bug fixes and weapon adjustments to both titles. From updated spawn logic to map exploits and graphical issues, the shooter’s very first season not only includes plenty of new content but some much-needed fixes too.
