Best Contracts To Complete In Farming Simulator 25

While planting crops or keeping animals are core sources of income in Farming Simulator 25, there are also other ways to earn some cash in the game, especially earlier in the farming career when the budget is scarce and the farming fields are not big enough to return enough profit for expanding the operations.

This is where Contracts come in handy. These are missions assigned to players that ask them to complete a certain operation on an NPC farm in a set time. There is a wide variety of contracts available that differ based on the scale of the job, required machines and tools, and the final payment. Here are the best contracts to complete in Farming Simulator 25.

There’s a lot that can go wrong when starting Farming Simulator 25, so here’s how to be successful from the get-go.

Best Contracts To Complete In Farming Simulator 25

Contracts Farming Simulator 25

As you can guess, not all contracts in Farming Simulator 25 are worth putting time and effort into. The good news is, even if the player doesn’t have the machines to complete a contract, they can borrow the requirements for a small fee, which is subtracted from the contract rewards. That said, you should still be picky about these contracts.

Fertilizing

Fertilizing Contract Farming Simulator 25

The best contract type to accept is Fertilizing. This process is fairly fast and easy. Most fertilizing machines have a high range, which allows the player to cover a large portion of the field in a single run from one side of the land to the other. As a result, the number of runs to cover the entire land is small, and contracts can be completed at a much faster pace.

Players should keep in mind that fertilizing will require them to also purchase the Solid Fertilizer, but since its usage rate is pretty small, one Big Bag Pallet is usually enough for a big field, and you can also dump the rest of the fertilizer material somewhere close to the road and pick it up later.

Wood Transport

This mission is quite different from other contracts as it is not about farming at all. This is just a transport mission that requires players to pick up some wood from a set location and then sell it in a sawmill or carpentry.

Since the machines for Wood Transport are not commonly used by players, it is always best to borrow them for the contract. Wood Transport missions usually offer a reward of over $15K, which makes the contract worthy of completion.

Spraying

Spraying is also similar to fertilizing, and based on the tool offered by the contractor, it also covers a significant area. The problem with spraying is that it requires Herbicine as a raw material, which is more expensive than Solid Fertilizers.

As such, we recommend accepting spraying contracts only when they offer substantial rewards.

Harvesting (Grains)

Harvesting Contract Farming Simulator 25

Harvesting is a simple and straightforward process, but it is only recommended to accept such contracts if the product is among Grains. Harvesting grains is much easier and faster, but players should also make sure to check that the machine offered by the contract features internal storage.

Harvesters that come without storage will require a truck to move next to them, and this cannot be done single-handedly. So, the player will be required to drive the truck and hand over the harvester to the AI worker. While it works, it’s not efficient, and on bigger fields, you may not even manage to complete the contract before the timer runs out.
