Sakamoto Days Has Received A Lot Of Positive Acclaim
Sakamoto Days has been written by Yuto Suzuki. It began serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump on November 21, 2020. Before the manga began serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump, Yuto Suzuki published a one-shot titled Sakamoto in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA. So far, the manga has sold over 5.5 million copies, which is a great number for a series that hasn’t released its anime adaptation.
Sakamoto Days has also received a novel adaptation, which was written by Renka Misaki. It was titled Sakamoto Days: Killer’s Method and was released on April 4, 2023. Another spin-off called Sakamoto Days: Assassin Blues is set to release on December 4, 2024.
Sakamoto Days follows the story of Taro Sakamoto, who used to be an elite assassin with no equals. His reputation in the underworld increased so much that he was considered a legend. However, things changed when he fell in love. Sakamoto began dating and eventually got married. Not long afterward, he had a kid. Leaving the underworld, Sakamoto began working as a convenience store owner.
