However, it seems as though one actor potentially involved in the project has been a little cheeky on social media, as Peacemaker lead and professional wrestler John Cena posted a picture of the Mass Effect 2 crew to his personal Instagram shortly after the TV announcement was made.
Mass Effect’s Amazon TV Show May Involve John Cena
We can see from the picture that Cena posted the image of Mass Effect 2 four days ago, which was just two days after it was revealed the TV show was in development. That could either mean that Cena is simply quite excited about the prospect of a Mass Effect TV show, like pretty much every fan of the series, or it could be a sneaky hint that Cena is involved.
To make the case for the latter, we know that Cena is a bit of a gamer, having talked about his love for video games in various interviews over the years. Fast & Furious 9 writer David Casey could also be a strong hint about Cena’s potential involvement, as those that have actually seen the movie will know that Cena plays the villain Jakob Toretto, so the two have worked together before.
