What Are Studs Used For In Lego Horizon Adventures?
Studs are essential for unlocking a variety of features and upgrades throughout the game, making them a valuable resource to manage as you progress. You can start using Studs early once the Cosmetics Shop unlocks. The shop features multiple tabs with cosmetics from different games, with most items costing between 250 to 500 Studs.
However, the Gold versions of each playable character are priced at 5,000 Studs. Players can also interact with several Plots to build Roofs and Yards, as well as purchase Decorations—each of which also requires Studs.
Some Community Jobs also require the player to equip certain Cosmetics or purchase specific buildings to complete the task.
Apart from enhancing the appearance of yourself and the Village, there are Upgrades you can purchase that help in Combat throughout the game. Some of these upgrades may not seem enticing initially, but unlocking a Rare Weapon and Gadget from the start and gaining additional XP during missions are essential.
How to Farm Studs In Lego Horizon Adventures
Studs in every Lego game are easy to find. From the first mission, you will start finding Studs placed along the path. Bronze Studs indicate the main path, while Silver Studs mark side areas. These side areas are often small and primarily contain chests that can be interacted with.
The chests hold a random amount of Studs and may also drop a Gadget or Rare Weapon. In these side areas, players will also find structures that can be built, usually yielding around 200 Studs. The building process takes a few seconds, but it is worth the wait.
In addition to exploration, players can acquire Studs dropped by enemies and bosses. The stronger the enemy, the more Studs you’ll earn after defeating them. After completing the main story, players can repeatedly play Expeditions to accumulate the necessary Studs.
There are several Plots in Mother’s Heart where you can build Yards. After each mission, visit these Plots to earn a small amount of Studs for free. Small buildings provide 200 Studs, while larger ones give 500. Once all the buildings are unlocked, you can earn up to 4,000 Studs from Mother’s Heart alone.
