Pokemon TCG Pocket has a lot of cards for you to discover, and regardless of your play style and your type preferences, every Pokemon has the chance to shine in the right deck. Of course, the best decks have access to ex cards, powered-up versions of already-known Pokemon that can wreak havoc on the battlefield.

While the meta is dominated by ex Pokemon like Zapdos, Articuno, or Mewtwo, some more affordable options can be as strong as them, and with the right cards in your hand, Dragonite and Weezing can take you to victory, while also having some fun with them.
How To Build A Dragonite/Weezing Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket
As you might have noticed by the title, this deck involves no ex card whatsoever; instead, your main focus on building this list should be getting every possible trainer card you can buy with Tickets, and the rest of the cards should eventually drop by opening Booster Packs.
The Weezing and Dragonite lines should be available in the Mewtwo Booster Packs along with Koga, and Sabrina drops in the Charizard Booster Packs.

How To Play The Dragonite/Weezing Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket
This deck is significantly more affordable and easy to build than others without compromising offensive power, although it is a bit slower to set up. For that very reason, you must always focus on three specific cards, which are the backbone of this deck:
Weezing
Weezing should always be your first active Pokemon, as it’s HP and Poke Power should help to chip away the opponent’s HP and take a few hits while you set up your Dragonite line. It should resist most of the early-game attacks with ease unless you face a Fighting-type deck, so you should be safe to withstand some turns while your dragon folks are set up.
Always remember to de-select the Darkness-type energy from the Deck Menu, as it will only lower your chances of getting Water and Electric-type Energies, and you should never attack with Weezing in the first place.
Koga
Of course, Weezing is not immortal, and the tides of a match can be turned quite quickly, which is why Koga is here; before the opponent can get the final hit on your Weezing, always use this Supporter card to retire it for free.
Not only this will circumvent the high retreat cost Weezing has, but also help you to immediately start setting that Weezing up again in full HP, should you ever need it back from the bench.
Dragonite
And that takes us to the final part of this strategy; by this point, and if luck is in your favor, you should have your Dragonite ready to go. This massive unit has one sole move, Draco Meteor, which targets your opponent’s team four times at random, dealing 50 points with each hit.
This could mean that the four opposing Pokemon get hit by 50 points, or it could mean the opponent Pokemon ex card gets a whopping 150 HP off; it can either hit the Active Pokemon, the bench, or all of them. All bets are off with Dragonite, and even though this entirely depends on how lucky you are, you can be sure it will be a fun time.
