The current season of Fortnite has gotten a bit creative with cosmetics. No longer satisfied with back blings on skins, players will soon be able to add shoes to the cosmetics! Although, not as soon as we thought. A Fortnite shoes delay has just been announced by Epic. The new form of cosmetic isn’t arriving this week anymore.
Despite being included in the Battle Pass, they’re getting pushed at the last minute. Shoes on any skin is a bit tricky, and it’s already got players wondering how they’ll actually work. We’ve got a while longer to wait now we know they won’t be in the Fortnite Ice Spice update. However, they are still coming soon. Plus, players can now pe-unlock their first skins starting soon.
Fortnite Shoes Delay Announced
Epic has made a few big announcements recently. First, the Fortnite OG return was confirmed. Now, they’ve had to push back the release of a new Fortnite cosmetic. The Fortnite shoes delay isn’t too disappointing for most players though. It’s a cosmetic type we’ve never had before, so it’s not much of a loss to not have them for a while longer.
Epic has announced they’ve had to push back shoes. Although, the pair in the Battle Pass aren’t going anywhere. Now, players can unlock the shoes in the Battle Pass once they unlock. However, they won’t be able to be used. The whole slot and system won’ be added to the game for a little while longer.
We’ve known since the first announcement that Epic wouldn’t be including skins for every character. At least not at launch. It won’t be included on some of the weirder skins who will take a lot more work. The more normal Fortnite hitbox characters will likely be getting them at launch though.
We’re still expecting shoes to arrive! Hopefully, it’s early enough for players to try out the Battle Pass shoes on skins before the pass leaves the store for Chapter 6.
