The core gameplay in Farming Simulator 25 is almost unchanged, and those who are familiar with the previous Farming Sim entries will probably know how to get started in the beginning. However, things are different and probably a bit more complex for the newcomers, as the number of machines, tools, and variety of crops seem overwhelming.
That being said, the entire process is not too difficult. Once the player gets to know the overall processes that must be done to increase the yield, it will be just a rinse-and-repeat moving forward. However, the most important part is planting the seeds which must be purchased beforehand.

How To Get Seeds In Farming Simulator 25
While farmers do have some small bags of seeds at the beginning of the New Farmer mode, they will eventually need to buy them from the shop. So, either go to the store or open the shop menu (press “P” on PC) and open the Vehicles tab. Then, scroll all the way down until you find the Objects category. Here, all the soil-related materials can be found.
Since seeding is done using a machine, click on the Big Bag Pallets and then buy as many packs as required. These packs will spawn next to the Vehicle Shop in town. Take your seed planter machine next to it, and fill in the tank. Now, the machine is ready to plant the seeds on the field.
You can still unload the seed planter machine at any time, which will respawn the seeds in pallets once again.
The seed pallets include all the seeds for all variants of crops. However, they will only appear when inside the corresponding machine. For example, a Grain Planter will only show the seeds that are under the grain category, while a rice planter will only show rice.
Also, it’s worth noting that seeds should never be loaded into a truck. This way, the seeds will never return to their packed form and cannot be poured into a planter machine. The seeds that are loaded into a truck can only be sold.
While it’s different from one crop to another, the seed usage by planter machines is usually pretty small on medium-sized fields, and a single Big Bag Pallet would be enough to plant seeds in more than one field. So, just try to start small and buy more seeds when required.
Last but not least, before attempting to buy seeds, make sure that you have the required machine to plant the type of crop that you want. Some crops also need unique harvester machines.
