With each new episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA, fans are getting to see Goku get more and more powerful in his childlike form. There are tough opponents on the horizon like the Tamagamis, but Goku will have plenty of other challenges along the way. After Episode 5, viewers were once again treated to a tiny preview of what’s to come. Goku is poised to challenge a familiar ally as well as one massive opponent seen in the opening sequence when Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 6 is released.

While Goku barely managed to keep his balance after being cursed with his chibi-style form in the series premiere episode, each fight has seen him become more proficient in battle. The minuscule Saiyan was more than capable in a bar fight and against the Gendarmerie after arriving in the Demon Realm, but the first glimpse of his true power in Dragon Ball DAIMA burst forth when Super Saiyan Goku appeared in Episode 5 to wrap up a defeat of King Kadan’s soldiers.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Minotaur Teased in Episode 6 Preview

What Can Fans Expect Out of DAIMA’s Minotaur?

At the end of Episode 5, “Panzy”, a five-second teaser gave a few clues about what fans can expect when the next episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA premieres. These short previews have appeared after every episode so far, and they’ll become more intriguing as each new chapter unfurls the larger story of Dragon Ball DAIMA. The preview for Episode 6, which will be titled “Lightning”, first shows a disgusted and concerned Shin looking at an opened can of food. Just after that, Goku is shown fighting with Glorio in what may be a sparring session to continue training under the effects the Demon Realm’s heavier air.

There’s also a chance that fight could be the start of growing tensions with Glorio, as Shin warned Goku at the end of Episode 5 that he believes Glorio is hiding something. At the very end of the Episode 6 preview, another look at the large minotaur creature already shown in the Dragon Ball DAIMA opening sequence was revealed. Goku, Shin, Glorio, and a fourth figure that could be Panzy or another yet to be revealed character appear to have stumbled upon the minotaur in a cave, and that may prove to be Goku’s toughest battle yet.

Fans getting to see a future opponent in the opening sequence before it actually appears in the anime has been a staple of each Dragon Ball series, and the Minotaur isn’t the only one previewed as DAIMA‘s opening theme plays. All three of the Tamagamis that must be defeated to retrieve the Demon Realm Dragon Balls are shown, and there’s a glimpse of King Gomah with allies that could come up against Goku. The opening also features Super Saiyan Vegeta and Piccolo, fellow Z fighters set to enter the Demon Realm soon in future episodes of Dragon Ball DAIMA.
